I wonder if Tea would get along with another who has empathetic abilities. Tea is easily ruled by his and other's emotions.

I wonder, because it is not like Grim is nicest creature around, and the thoroughly enjoy any and all negative emotions. Their reaction to another somewhat like them would probably be to prod at their Presence/Aura, and to see if they were more open to suggestions than regular people.

Their reaction to another somewhat like them would probably be to prod at their Presence/Aura, and to see if they were more open to suggestions than regular people. Ooooo Tea is incredibly sensitive to negativity. He'd pick up on the manipulation more out of experience than actually using his abilities. But find a way to berate him and you might get somewhere depending on techniques. Tea's tough though. |

It is kind off amusing, that their power is the same, but still so different. Like, sure Grim can sense emotions, they are very good at it even, but they are not influenced by it. To them it is little more than pretty light made by stained windows. Sticking their hands through the light to create shadow animals is amusing and sometimes exiting. They can understand why it is coloured the way it is, but does not feel it themselves.
Most of Grim's emotional manipulation is soft suggestions, not spoken or anything. But more like emitting a single emotion strong enough to influences others in the same direction. They cannot however provoke things that were not already there. Kinda like when you go into a room and you can feel the emotion tangible in the air.
Fear and wrath is espicially pretty to them, even if it gets them in trouble at times.
I wonder what Tea would 'see' looking at Grim, especially because their soul is a broken mess and they are full of holes that sucks any stray energy to them...

I would have to ponder that. Tea's plight is he feels the emotions of others as strongly as he feels his own. He can evoke any emotion he himself has felt in another. Thperplexing, in handy when fighting a losing battle. It drains him of energy to do this though. It truly is perplexing, seeing the differences and similarities of these two. Tea doesnt like playing with people's emotions. He only does it when he has to. He's much more interested in reading people to either better understand or, if he absolutely must, use their emotions to determine information. His main goal is to keep himself safe, though, because he feels no one else will. |
