Echo, a normal girl at the age of sixteen, lay in the cage she'd been held. It's been months since she was taken from her home and family. The scientists came daily, doing experiments and tests, taking blood and strands of hair. They made her run on treadmills until she couldn't stand up anymore, it was awful.
When she had first arrived, she would cry all the time. But now, she just sat there stone faced and quiet. Echo looked up as the door to the room her cage was in was opened. The whitecoats, that's what everyone called them, walked in. They, with the help of a few Erasers, loaded her cage onto a cart and wheeled her to another room. "Time for the main experiment." One said
Hours later, Echo laid in her cage, her white hospital gown bloody. Her body was covered in sweat, and her hair was damp. Her throat was raw from screaming. Finally, she opened her eyes, her once pure blue orbs now ever changing. Her new wings fluttered weakly behind her

Two voices cried out in agony in a separate room before they died down and two males were thrown into another cage beside the girl, one taller than the other, both wearing white outfits that had more blood drenched their backs as the shorter one let out of a cry of agony, a pair of leathery wings bursting forth from his back in a bloody mess, staining the ground beneath him as he panted heavily, his grey bat wings spread out as they dropped to his sides limply as his green and violet eyes looked to the girl in the cage beside him.
He turned his head away and laid beside the other male in his cage, groaning from the dull pain. In his back

Echo looked up with tired eyes as two new people where placed in her room. She looked at the wings on his back and winced, knowing how it felt. She closed her eyes when she heard the door open. "Hey, get up." A rough voice said to her. Her cage door opened and she opened her eyes, crawling out. An Eraser stood there, his sneer showing his canines. He roughly grabbed her arm and dragged her another lab

The taller male watched as the Eraser passed their cage, as he glared at one, growling lowly as he stuck close to the younger. The smaller male watched as they dragged the girl off with blank eyes, void of any emotion but fear.
"It's your turn!"
The taller was yanked out by his collar as he thrashed and cursed at the Eraser until one punched him causing him spit out blood as he fell silent, still glaring at the creatures that dragged him away from his cage and the younger that laid inside, now unconscious.

Echo was pushed down on a table and stopped in. Soon she could feel the whitecoats poking and prodding at her wings, causing even more discomfort in her back. After they were done with her wings, they checked her nerve response and how well she could move her wings. Soon they had her hovering off the ground.

Dante snarled and tried to bite the men in white coats as it took three of them to hold him down onto a table as one grabbed a scalpel and sliced near his lower back, creating an X as another took a needle and began to inject some strange substance into the mark that was made as Dante screamed, thrashing worse than before.
"Stop It! STOP IT!" He cried in agony, his irises dilating along with his pupils as his wings flapped violently, trying to knock the men away only for them to be held down as well. Dante's eyes changed color to red and black as the male was rolled onto his back, the scientists checking his wings and bending them as Dante's head lolled to the side, the pain to bad for him to fight back

Echo lay there, panting as she slowly fell into darkness. She didn't hear the crash, didn't see the boy with blond hair and glowing green eyes and white wings burst through the window. She didn't hear the fight, or feel herself being lifted and flown through the window. She didn't know she was safe. She was uncounciouss

Enfer heard the loud crash from his cage and his eyes widened as he slammed against his cage, hearing a snap before the lock broke completely. He stumbled as he caught himself and ran off in the direction that Dante was taken as he broke into the lab and attacked the scientists experimenting on him.
"Dante! Dante! Wake up!"
The older male blinked a couple times to see the younger smiling at him,"Enfer?" He asked. "Yeah, we have to get out of here! Come on!" Enfer grabbed Dante's hand and pulled him out the broken window, opening his wings, along with Dante.

Echo opened her eyes, finding herself on a small blanket. She sat up slowly, finding out she was alone. She turned, hearing rustling in the bushes beside her. A boy walked out, a tall boy with blonde hair and green eyes. "Oh, you're awake." Echo nodded, silent. "I'm Siccuro, I, uh, broke you out of the lab." He said, sitting down beside Echo and pulling a bag beside him.

"Anywhere that's aware from that hell."
The two males stayed up in the trees. Enfer tried his hardest to keep up with Dante as he easily jumped to a different branch every minute. Enfer had to push himself to keep up with the other until he bumped into him when he came to a sudden stop. "What is it Dante?" Enfer asked. "I hear other voices, stay here and be quiet," Dante commanded and th younger obeyed as the older slowly approached the sound of the voice, peeking through the tree line to see two people talking

Echo looked up towards the bushes. Siccuro followed her gaze, seeing Dante. "Who are you?" Sicurro stood protectively in front of Echo. Echo wrapped an extra blanket around her shoulders, not minding the stranger.

Dante stepped out of the bushes, his wings twitching from the branches that brushed them. "I'm Dante, I was trapped with a friend of mine beside this girl," Dante explained. He looked up in the trees and gestured for Enfer to come down.

Dante nodded. The silence was interrupted when Enfer screamed as the branch he was on broke beneath him, sending him plummeting face first into the ground. "I'm okay!" Enfer called, raising his hand as Dante sighed and shook his head.
