She dropped the drawer on her bed and took out the stuff inside it. Monopoly, snakes and ladders, scrabble, one of them was a sungka board along with a plastic pouch filled with chairs. A pouch of jackstones and pick up sticks were there too. She laid all of them on the bed. "I have snakes and ladders. Wanna play that one?" she dusted off the cover and took it off. Inside was regular board game stuff, there was also a polaroid picture of 3 girls doing a silly pose. She frowned at it.

She looked troubled and kinda sad. "I dont know." She took the picture and placed near one of her flowers, a spiderlily. She sighed, then a few moments later clapped her hands. "Snakes and ladders! Snakes and ladders." she said a little too loudly. She went back the bed and prepared the board, there were 5 pieces; blue, white, green, red, and yellow. She took the white one.

Rasmus ignored the game and stared at the picture with a tilt of his head. He wondered why this made Bone look so sad. He whined, giving Bone puppy dog eyes, he wanted to know what was troubling her.

She merely sighed and patted Rasmus' head, smiling. Her smile came out a bit wistful though. She lied back on her bed. "....I used to play these board games with them." she blinked, as if she was holding back some tears, which she was. She went towards a mini ref near the side and opened it, taking out a bottle of chocolate milk. "Would you like some?" she offered them.

Rasmus climbed up on the bed and reached into his jacket and pulled out a little hankeircheif. He held it out to Bone with a sad smile. He didn't like it when people around him were upset.

"I want blue!" Rasmus called, jumping down from the bed and grabbing the piece. His tail wagged as he picked it up and held it.

She smiled a happy smile as she accepted the handkerchief from Rasmus. She had new friends now, friends that won't leave her she thought. "Let's play odd one out so we know the order of rolling the dice." She said, putting her hand out. "You put your hand out in the center and on my count you choose if you want to flip your hand so your palm is facing up, or retain the same position." She explained.

"On the count of three flip your hands, or not flip your hand, your choice! If nobody flipped or two people flipped at the same time we can just repeat it over and over again." She smiled, "1..2..3!" She flipped her hand so the palm was facing up.

She clapped her hands and smiled, "Ok! First is Rasmus, next is Apis and then I'm last." She handed the dice to Rasmus. "The rules are simple; you roll the dice to know how many steps you move your piece. if you stop at a ladder, then you can take the path of the ladder so you can get closer to the finish line. If you stop at a snake, then you go further away, sometimes even returning to the finish line. The winner get's some apple pie!" She explained, and gestured to the ref near the side of the room.

Rasmus nodded. He took the dice and rolled them and got a nine. Rasmus took his piece and then moved it the number of steps he had to.
