He continued to smile at both of them. This felt really nice to him; for once in a long time no one was screaming or running away...or trying to kill him for that matter. He could feel the warmth of his flame grow slightly larger and warmer. He chose to not do anything for them, but he felt that he should do something. Friends do that sort of thing for each other...right?
He paused as he continued to think about what he could do, looking at the ground beneath his feet, raising his brows he bent over and picked up a small scurrying bug.
Holding it out, he offered it to Bonebon.

She froze when she noticed the bug. She didn't know what to do. Nomen was nice and he wanted everyone to respect every living creature, like EVERY living creature. Including bugs. She closed her eyes and looked away from the bug. "I'm really sorry, but I really REALLY can't stand bugs. I wont touch it if it doesn't touch me though." She told him. She was doing her best not to cover her body in flames already.

"Oh ok, sorry" he retracted his hand.
Pausing momentarily he looked at the bug, from what he could tell, it was on its last legs. Slowly wiggling and twitching. A slightly larger smile grew as he then proceeded to open his mouth and consume the bug. It made a rather loud crunching noise; Nomen continued to smile as he chomped and swallowed. He was now slightly more relieved; he felt sad though now looking back at Bonebon. Oh...maybe just once...??
Taking a seat he looked at her intently.

She made a face when she heard a cruching sound from Nomen. She slowly turned her head toward him and found the bug wasn't there and there were some weird things in his teeth. She looked away again. After a few minutes she looked at Nomen again and noticed him staring at her intently. "What?"

Inhaling deeply and exhaling he relaxed his shoulders. He continued breathing in....and out.....in.....and out....
Bowing his head low, reaching out to the dirt, he traced a symbol with his long finger. What came next was him softly singing as he retraced the symbol over and over again.
The air around them had begun to grow dry; a veil of mist began to form. It shrouded the three and made the night grow darker.

Seth winced as the bug was consumed. "That was disgusting... do you know where that bug has been, or what was on it? That's so gross..." he said, with a concerned and repulsed look on his face. Seth refused to sit, instead, standing still. Was this guy for real?

She panicked slightly at the mist surrounding them. She noticed Nomen drawing some symbols, that she couldn't recognize. Her flames startened to blacken and she glared at Nomen, but then she realized he looked a bit shaken too so she restrained her anger. "What are you doing?!" she said.

"What you requested..."
Opening his mouth wide, a billowing blue flame flew up from his insides and out his mouth. It was shaped like a canary as it hovered inches between them.
"I can not reach them directly, but I can do my best to try and reach someone on the other side." his voice was coming out of the bird now.
It hovered over the symbols, it stayed close to Nomen though as it was his flame. The symbols were unrecognizable, but they were similarly arranged in that of a oujia board.

Her eye widened. This was....intense. She took in a shaky breath, can't back down now. "Do-do I just ask for who I want to see?" she stuttered. She was starting to get all sweaty and her flames have disappeared. "I..I want to see Ella Bonifacio!" It was a weird name, but that was her friend's name. Although she regretted picking her first, since she murdered her out of rage.

The body of Nomen nodded as the bird fluttered a bit. Reaching its own hands, Nomen's palms hovered over the board; the bird began shifting between symbols and letters with Nomen's hands following. It spelt out the name; E-L-L-A B-O-N-I----
As the hands continued to spell, the canary, now standing still, opened its wings in view of Bonebon. The firey feathers held a moving picture, it was blurry, but was moving in sync with the fire. A voice was trying to be heard; it had an echoing after tone as it spoke.
"H-Hello-o!"

She freaked out internally when she actually heard her friend's voice. She gave the apparition a nervous smile and a small wave. "Hi. Remember me?" she squeaked out. The blurry image seemed to stare at her then a growling echo emerged from it. It chuckled too, a strange noise that made her want to run away.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING CHAMUEL?!" it yelled

Nomen's body did not flinch at the sound nor sight of the imagery; it remained still, its hands over the last letter of the board. The canary kept the connection open, but could sense her fear.
Both did not waiver, but kept the connection open in order for Bonebon to receive her closure.

She glanced at Nomen. He was really focusing on this. She couldn't back down and waste his energy. She'll back down if something life-threatening happens. Which won't happen hopefully. She faced the apparition and took a deep breath. "Look I-I'm sorry. I was mad and I didn't mean to kill you. It's just you were pissing me off that day....yeah....I'm sorry." she hung her head.
The apparition was silent then cackled. Then it yelled. "DOES SORRY RETURN THE LIFE THAT YOU STOLE?!" It seemed like it was trying to reach out and grab her. Bone looked to Nomen, "It can't hurt me, right?"

Without warning, Nomen's skeletal fingers grew and extended straight upward with a clacking sound. It had pierced through the flame, without harming it, but due to its sharp tips had ended the connection. The spindle fingers came out like a porcupine raising its defense against a predator. The canary shape began to shrink and become that of an ember; floating down it now lay in Nomen's palm. With a click and a clack of him raising it up, he swallowed it whole once again.
He let out a loud and very deep breath that was heavily borderline wheezing.
"T-They still can....They...." he continued to wheeze. "They can very much hurt you...."

She felt guilty. This dude who wasn't even close with her had exerted his energy to help her find closure. She felt stupid. She knew her friend would be mad, she didn't have a plan, didn't really know what to say. She sat down on the grass and hung her head. She sighed heavily, "I'm sorry. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it." she tried to make her voice sincere, unfortunately she wasn't good at that. "...I should probably go now." she got up and turned around, heading back into the woods.
