Echo swam through the clear water, looking for a few sea shells. She found a group of blue and purple shells and stashed them in her green bag, along with a few pearls and sea flowers she had found. Today was the new Queens coronation, and Echo was assigned to find beautiful things to add to her dress and hair.
She soon came across a small chain of sea crystal, diamond like beads, and stashed them in her bag. They would look great on the Queens tail. She flapped her own blue tail and swam a bit faster, trying to hurry. 'The Queen wanted a new conch shell.....but I don't see any..." Echo thought to herself. She kept scouting the area.

Out of pure boredom, Dante was floating on top of the surface, his brother jumping over him from time to time, but he didn't mind that much. Taking the time to dive down again when he saw humans in the distance he noticed someone close to the sea floor. He looked at his brother who had swam over, curious to see what he had found. Shushing him, Dante slowly swam downward, his dark scales blending in as he moved without a sound, noticing that she was looking for something. A shell?
Using his tail to brush away some sand, he saw a few shells and there just happened to be a conch among them. Picking it up he followed fe girl, swimming up beside her and holding it out,"would this be what you're looking for?"

Echo turned around at the voice. The man behind her had a shell in his hand, the shell she needed. "Oh, um, yes. I need it for the Queen." She mumbled. She slowly reached her arm out and took the shell, slipping it into her bag.

"The queen huh? Are you a friend or of high ranking?" Dante asked, swimming in front of her. Dante himself was a guard, while his brother was still too young to join him.

Echo nodded. "Kind of both." She said. "I'm her sister." She looked at all the shells and things in her bag, thinking that should be enough. "Miss Echo!" A voice called. She turned to see Sicurro, her own personal guard.

Bone was swimming around the rocks, her silver tail shimmering as she swam. She looked like regular mermaids but the fin on her back and her sharp teeth differentiated her. Yes she is a shark, and this shark is hungry. She was swimming around for prey, and found two merpeople having a conversation. She grinned, her shark teeth showing. She found food! Although merpeople tasted weird but who cares! She snuck up on them then grabbed Echo's waist. She bent her neck so her face was facing hers and was really close to each other. Like super close, Bone could rip her face out right now if she wanted. "Hey." She liked scaring prey first.

Dante wasn't afraid, more like irritated. He pushed her back and gestured for his brother to come over as the younger one his behind Dante. "May I ask who you are....Miss....shark," Dante said, glancing over her tail.

Echo froze, surprise taking over. "Miss Echo!" Sicurro yelled, swimming closer. He pulled out his spear, ready to throw it but not having a clear shot with Echo in the way. Echo stared at the Sharks face, her widened eyes seeing a blur with teeth. She kept silent, though.

She chuckled, all the while not taking her eyes off Echo. "Hmmm, feel free to call me Bonebon. My school calls me that because my teeth are so sharp they can even chew through bone." she licked Echo's cheek and made a sound of satisfaction. "Nice taste. Nice smell too." She lowered her face down to Echo's shoulder and took a bite out of it. She chewed it happily and quickly.

Dante's brother yelped and Dante's eyes widened. His nails on his weebed fingers turned to claws and his teeth sharpened as he attacked the shark, sinking his teeth and claws into it.

Echo gave a small shout of pain. She watched the water around her turn red. "Miss Echo!" She heard her guard shout again. Echo bit her lip, trying to keep more yells from escaping.
((Wtf Bone, I went full turtle bc the shoulder part-full turtle is a weird thing I do-))

(( turtle???  ?))) She let out a cry of pain as Dante bit and clawed her, ripping some scales on her tail and turning the water around them red. She fought back and tried to push him away, clawing his chest and snapping her jaws at him in a threatening manner. All she wanted was food, seeing as her school hunted without her and didn't bother leaving some. Remembering that thought plus the smell of blood made her go wild. She let out a feral noise as she managed to grab Dante's arm and bite it, ripping and chewing some flesh. "Hungry..." |

Dante snarled, tearing off a large chunk of flesh, swallowing it himself. He bared his sharp teeth and continued his attack. He ignored the pain in his arm.
