Tea narrowed his eyes and hissed. "I'm supposed to not get myself too hurt." New body, specially crafted by three of the most powerful women in the cult. There was a certain responsibility to maintaining it, otherwise he'd be tearing his organs out just as before. "Is there a way to help that will guarantee me no injury?" He felt guilty. He would rather just help Enfer out and injuries be damned. However, he had to be careful.

"You could help me sew up a dummy that I use for target practice...but it's fine if you don't wanna, I mainly use the trees around here for practice if I can't get help from my friends," Enfer explained. He really didn't mind if the other didn't want to help him, he was pretty used to others telling him no, so hearing it really wouldn't upset him

Tea nodded. "I can definitely help sew up a dummy. Though I apologize if I create more holes than necessary." He referred to his talons and gave a sorry look. "I would like helping as much as I can. It's important to stay prepared and strong."

"Don't worry, my son is the reason why there's so many holes in it...the poor thing is still teething, which should be normal for a dragon of his age..." Enfer said, thinking about Rasmus. "But anyways...I'm very grateful tor the help," Enfer said with a smile as he stood from his seat. He had finished his tea awhile ago and was ready to head to his cave to find the dummy if he was ready.

"I'm glad to be of help," Tea offered pleasantly. "What's your son like?" It was rare that he got to speak to parents at all. So many of the cultists had lost theirs, many more had hated them. It was refreshing, getting the opportunity to hear from a father.

"Well, Rasmus is very smart and excitable...but I'm not considered the father of Rasmus, I had to give birth to him so I'm the mother...he's still nursing, but he can eat a few solid foods," Enfer explained. He loved his son dearly so if anything happened to him, he'd have a fit and hunt down the person who dared to hurt his child. The parental instincts always take over when they're needed.

Tea wanted to ask, but figured that would be rude and invasive. So instead he directed his next question towards a similar subject. "Is your mate involved in the raising of Rasmus?"

"Of course, when I'm not around to feed him, Caleum has to come and make sure he has some way to eat...he's actually there right now if I'm correct," Enfer said as he thought about it. He would never leave a hatchling alone without protection. And he was sure that he'd make sure Caleum gets a mouthful if he dared to leave their son alone

Tea smiled. "It's good to hear stories of loving parents. I'm sorry if that's strange to you."

"It's fine, lots of people ask about my son, so it's fine," Enfer said with a smile. The hybrid chuckled at the thought of all his friends who were surprised to hear that he had a son a year ago

"Sometimes I worry I ask strange or invasive questions. I just . . . it's been a long time. Since I've encountered less . . . military or war-like societal structures." That was way more articulate than he had anticipated, but he wasn't going to complain. He hadn't stammered. That was an added bonus.

"I don't believe you ask any invasive questions...an invasive question for me would be asking if I felt guilty for eating members of my own clan, even though I do," Enfer stated. He hummed, fiddling with his claws as he sighed

Tea nodded. "I can . . . in all honesty say that I would not ask something like that." Especially when he himself had eaten people he really should not have. "At least you did it of your own volition? Maybe? I would hope?"

Enfer glanced down, fiddling with his fingers again. He shook his head, not being able to make eye contact with the other. "No...I didn't, I was so young when it happened...my father told me it was okay so I believed him and did as I was told, hunting and eating most of the dragons of our clan..." Enfer explained. The hybrid sighed and gave a small laugh. "That's all in the past though, even though I do get urges from time to time, I try not to think to much about it," Enfer said as his tail flicked back and forth restlessly.

Tea nodded. He decided that, in all fairness, he shouldn't have heard half of what Enfer said. He felt somewhat obliged to share, "I . . . have a bit of an alter ego. He only comes out at certain times at . . . he likes to eat. People. He's tried to eat . . . several cultists." It was hard, picking parts of himself out of his heartless self. They were in the same body, even in the same head. But . . . they really weren't the same. Their behaviors and voices were wholly different. According to some even their eyes were different.
