As a stranger, hanging out with Niax for a bit, they seem like a very stoic and blunt creature, and pretty nonchalant. Often avoiding talking or interacting deeply with others and sometimes be a tad bit creepy or spooky with the lack of facial expressions and seemingly only staring at others.
Even with this, your first glance and impression could be that they are an asocial creature that has a bland and dull personality.
I can tell you that you aren't wrong.
Although, that's just one side of a story.
To say at least, at the times you would observe carefully, Niax can be a bit odd sometimes and perhaps have a bit of everything in personality. Its an on and off kind of thing with this guy. It is sometimes is a inconsistent thing. Why do you bother? It's honestly confusing sometimes...
Here's some the generally complicated and inconsistent personality they have. You'd barely see these yourself if you aren't that close.
- They can be quiet and keep it to themselves, or be really talkative and ramble-y once when he knows about things or trust you. They mostly just side-comment and keeps responses brief or gestured.
- They sometimes find himself unable to share their thoughts clearly or sometimes just forget what they were about to say.
- They is curious on how things work and how others think and often wait or search for an opinion of another in a topic that interests him.
- They is a bit 'laid-back' with things and doesn't give much of a reaction to anything since they either doesn't care that much or somewhat expected it to happen. When they have something for others to do that is of important they tends to focus on it and work hard to finish it, not being able to get tired easily. Not quite the same with their personal objectives though.
- They are sometimes really indecisive and need more time to think what to pick. When they really can't pick they just randomly pick one and save the other things later, just in case they would be used. They prefer to let others choose.
For one thing that is consistent is that they are possessive and it would irritate them if you would 'borrow' their things without their permission. Also quite loyal and asks for confirmation on authority.
Do not asked them to share Secrets. otherwise, why would it be called as such?
They can sometimes be a bit of a sadist and or a masochist.

- Often changing/shifting form and design (e.x. Flame placement, visual design thing etc.)
- Juggling/playing with their fire and crystals for entertainment (this would be better understood when i show it with pictures and such)
- floating crystal nodes hover around them only when he wants to and isn't there all the time.
- wondering around, monitoring the base, gathering info
- patrolling around and looking through outposts

- abandoned buildings - space - stars - structure and mechanical things - scrap - technology - weather
- snow and scarves and other clothes - irony - concept connections - other people's lives and stories
- etc etc it goes on
- Pretty okay with most things
Dislikes:
- drama, unsatisfying work, noticeable mess with things they own or care about, people touching their stuff without their permission, wasting time, too much noise
Interests:
EVERYTHING.
but mostly astronomy and astrology, art, music, elements, creation of objects, story of others, creatures, landscape, technology and the like

Have a helpful purpose, a strong enough distraction
Habits:
Whistling (wind sounds ), Humming songs, Beep Boop just robot like things, making metal sculpture, making everything literal, hoarding scraps and items, Taking a nap almost anywhere in the territory when bored. Wondering around, getting too busy, Spacing out
Vices (drinking, smoking, yogurt):
Vague Cryptic crap, Hoarding things/kleptomania , procrastination and laziness on their own business,
Preferred Food Source:
Metal like things, Wood, scrap materials, Glass, Electricity, "light", "shadows". Occasionally meat and fruit.
(those things would usually look like they have been disintegrated and wit, disappears when they have contact with the flame on his head, also got this visual how they would eat )
