Tea bulked at the suggestion, stiffening slightly. He . . . very rarely knew what to ask for in situations like this. He often came up short, or not wanting anything at all. "You don't need to offer me anything, but . . .," he really did want to know why the other was upset. Perhaps he could repair some damage. Perhaps he could give the other a reason for . . . it would only come off as making up excuses. Tea sighed. But he wanted to know. Maybe it was nothing. Maybe it was everything. Either way, he was not a mind reader. He could only read emotion. And Dreamer was bitter over something and Tea feared it was something he had done. "Will you tell me what upset you?" He anticipated the answer.

Dreamer stood there for a moment, slowly trying to take it the question he had asked. 'What upset him?' It was an odd question and especially on he didn't want to answer. There was lots of things and he could already feel how easily Tea got upset over his fussiness when he couldn't see. Too many reason but really he could feel where this was leading too.
" I... I used to be able to do things on my own. Walk, run, talk, fight, see things all on my own." He started off slowly, briefly giving the other eye contact before looking back to the ground. Letting out a small breath he twiddled with his thumbs as he continued, " I can't really do any of those things on my own, I have to be guidied by someone. Treated like I'm glass as if they don't remember I used to fight and protect." He broke off the hard state he was giving the floor to bring his attention back to the tall cultist, " I worked hard to be who I was and to have it ripped away within seconds, haunts me in all my nightmares." He paused again, giving himself time to let all the negative energy melt off a bit, " I guess, perhaps, that why I'm upset." He only managed to let out softly, almost as if that had lifted some little weight he had on his shoulders

Tea nodded. He could sympathize with that, actually. "It's no fun being treated like you can't do things." He had always been treated like that on some level. "I have no doubt you can learn to do those things again, though." It dawned on him then . . . he might be referring to the Puppeteers.
Tea felt ill once again thinking about it. Guilt flooded him and suddenly he went quiet. He was afraid to say anymore.

His entire being felt jittery all over from nervousness, as if that wasn't enough he didn't feel as if he had to share so much as all it did was make the other feel worse.
Deciding to stop beating around the bush he simply said, " I know this is something you probally hate to have to keep remembering but.... I don't blame you for what you did. " he sighed a little out a relief for having to stop avoiding the topic. " I know what happened, your involvement. I was part of the C.U.T for a while before being captured you know." He let his hands unconsciously run his amulet. " I, just want to ask if... I mean.... How are you? " it was rather a simply and to be honest vague question but he stood to by what he asked. Out of all the stories he had heard that came out of the takeover, he never knew the outcome of the one who supposedly started it all. The other was let back in obviously but he was curious...at what cost?

Tea's guilt tripled and he stared almost unseeing down at the young cultist. He did his best to focus on the question, but it took extreme lengths to actually get his tongue moving again. Even as his tongue moved, his lips seemed to refuse to. "I'm . . . better." That was one hell of an understatement. He was free. He was breathing. He was alive and under no one's thumb. He was loved. He was cared for. He was surrounded by people who didn't sidestep him, but who approached him with some measure of adoration. He was finally . . . human. Amongst monsters, he had found his humanity.
It was this thought that made him smile and repeat his answer.

The young boy let himself study of the taller cultist as he though on the question. His struggles were reflected in his body movement and the way his eyes sometime look away and not make contact would make his nerves come back.
Was it appropriate to ask that question? Did he make a mistake again? Oh god he was probably too insensitive again, what a terrible habit of his to do that. Were among the rushed thoughts passing through his head until his attention back to him. He looked sort of surprised as he repeated his words again and... Smiled. It was the first time he had seen the other with an expression that wasn't in distress or sad. It seemed sincere, almost happy.
In that moment he let himself smile a little along with him " I see... glad to see that even after all that you can still smile ." He snapped himself out of the moment to look around the room laughed a bit nervously, " .... how about we sit down and take a moment to relax?" the transition between a serious moment to a nice chat was frankly really awkward thing to try but he couldn't help it! He still was awfully curious about the tall cultist and with all the still slight tenseness they could definitely use a breather.

Tea nodded. He would like that. "I was on the couch. Probably more comfortable to sit there than the table." He gestured for Dreamer to join him. He thought about what the boy had said about him smiling, and realized that . . . before the Candle Cult, he truly hadn't known he could still smile. Or laugh. He had begun to think he'd grown just as hollow as the Puppeteers felt to him. He murmured aloud, "It's easy to smile when there's a reason to." His reason being he was among those who did not mistreat or try to harm him.

Dreamer led himself to the couch the other had referred to, he sat on one edge of the school, his hands neatly rested on his lap politely. Smiling softly he gave his attention to the other, the couch was surprisely soft and little worn if he were to be honest but nice for a warm conversation with the taller cultist. He glanced away a moment to think of a good starter, not wanting to let the good vibes disappear, he thought hard before asking before he could even proceed what he was saying, " I'd like to know you a little better since I hardly get to meet new people so I guess I want to ask, what you like to do? Do you sort of lounge about here often " He really needed to learn how to control his excitement more.

Settling in, Tea thought that was a simple enough topic to start on. "I like to read. And drink tea obviously." That was why he was named Tea after all. "I used to write. I don't much anymore." He had told Eve he should pick it back up. He should hold true to that assessment. "I usually maintain anything that breaks around here. That's my job at least. What about you?"

Dreamer listen carefully, absorbing the information and little things he was getting. " Do you think you'll ever write like you used to again? I bet you have some interesting work." He commented, the individual seem to that of a sort of scholar, well perhaps just saying a literature lover would be safe to say. He perked up a bit as he was asked back, thinking about it for a moment he responded, " I usually train, if not I'm walking around the forest just enjoying nature. Or hunting down sweets like how the other day I met an angel because I might have or have not stole their candy." He added on as he thought about it and chuckled a little.

Tea had a feeling he knew the angel Dreamer was speaking of. "You could have met a spider." An angel wasn't so bad. But neither was said spider. He smiled. "I keep sweets in my tea cabinet for both of them actually. Help yourself anytime. It's in the kitchen, very easy to find." It was stuffed full of tea boxes and the like. "Walking is nice. I like nature as well." As for writing . . ., "My old writings were," filled with things he had spied, "business related. Keeping personal journals . . . wasn't really an option for me. I'm not sure what I could write about, honestly."
