Echo glanced over at him. "They were smart." She stood up and walked around the rocks, taking her time getting to the two boys in the field. She stopped for a moment a picked a flower, twirling it around between her fingers. She continued toward the boys, not pausing when she spoke. "You coming?"

Canis made a face, sticking out his tongue in disgust, then pulling it back in when the bitter air hit his tongue. "Cigarette smoke... I hate it. Always have, always will," he muttered under his breath. He could remember ever faintly as a child, his father taking a drag from his cigarette, and he leaving the room in absolute distaste. "Is there any way Dante could put down his cigar, just while I'm around?"

"Yeah, I'm sure I can get that annoying shifter to do something about it," Enfer said as he gave the other an apologetic look then turned to see Echo and smiled. "Hello Echo," Enfer said with a smile as he waved to her then seeing Dante walking over as well with a cig in his hand that the hybrid instantly took away and crushed beneath his claws. "I thought I told you to stop smoking these damn things when others were around," Enfer said as he glared at the shapeshifter.

Echo looked down at the flower. "Where to put it?" She asked herself, realizing soon after that Enfer had spoken. "Hello Enfer." She spoke again, almost just as quiet. She didn't give a smile back.
