Call froze at the sound of a different voice answering than she had anticipated and whipped around, staring at the new arrival. Well, their form was certainly unexpected. The nightmare entity couldn't quite figure out what they were. At least they had arms though - it almost made her long for a pair.
"I wouldn't say fear-inducing. More like startling." Her flame flickered as her mouth formed a line and grew strained. It was not as if she herself hadn't seen some disturbing things before - one being herself under this bothersome hood. "There are quite a few people down here it seems. And who might you be?"

The tentacles vanished into his skin and the large mouth at his belly grinned wide, all polished fangs and delicately carved teeth. "Oh, brilliant. Better than I had hoped." two of his mouths spoke in unison, and a third chuckled softly. "I am known as Elysium. It's a pleasure to be of your acquaintance.." Multiple eyes squinted and several others rolled slightly as he searched for the other's name. Delicate letters flared to life somewhere on his body, and Elysium grinned brightly with all of his mouths. "They call you Call, no? You have a way with Nightmares? I've heard of you. It's certainly a pleasure!" He didn't extend a hand.
Looking up, he examined the other members of the party. "And who else might these be?" He knew, of course, or more than likely knew of them; word gets around easily, and when every word heard is written on your skin... Well. It just wasn't any fun to deny them of the humor of introducing themselves. He waved a little with two of his left hands.

Her figure stiffened at the creature's words and the cautious sensation in her body returned. Her green flame flared violently and her fangs poked out farther past her mouth. "Well, your name is not familiar to me. What might you be? And how do you know of me?" Sure, most everyone knew each other in the cult but Call couldn't suppress the small wave of suspicion that peaked in her.
She glanced at the others near her in cass they knew Elysium, allowing them to speak for themselves if needed.

The mouth at Elysium's chest pursed it's lips, the one at his face smirked in a supposing kind of way, and the two at his throat spoke in unison. "There is certainly an answer to your first question, isn't there. Let's just say that I'm an amalgam of knowledge, yeah?" His upper three mouths all grinned, and the one at his chest simply smiled. Then he shrugged, crossing his top two arms and bracing the second pair against his "hips", or, rather, the shoulders of the next pair. He absently gestured with his upper right hand, arms still mostly folded. "I've watched and listened around. I've seen you before, I'm sure; I've heard your name and your... Calling in passing conversations, most certainly. Your signature hood. Your flame and fangs. You're quite liked, I believe." He smiled, dropped down onto the second-down pair of arms to not be, be at least, over two heights taller than Call, and spread his arms wide in a welcoming gesture. "I'm sorry if that was.. Startling to hear; I meant no malintent. If it's any consolation, it's likely that I know the other's names, I just.. Have a feeling that the memory is not recent. I would rather not rifle through it all to find a name that may or may not be there." There was now another mouth licking its fangs and smiling wide on his right bicep, and he shrugged absently, frowning and manually pinching the mouth shut.

Interesting reply. If she had eyebrows she would have raised at least one of out vague interest. "Ah... I see."
While the next part of Elysium's answer still made her uneasy she found herself chuckling loudly at his words. "Liked? Wow. I did not know many actually knew of me. I tend to...keep to myself, to be blunt." Call did relax a bit at hearing the last statements and shrugged, which looked strange since she had no shoulders. "I was merely startled by your presence. I'm sorry if I came off suspicious; you never know what could be down in these tunnels." She glanced at the walls and the feeling of being enclosed returned hesitantly, making the nightmare tense up once more. No, she wasn't going to deal with this right now.

Bone was startled with the arrival of the cultist which made her furrow her brow in annoyance afterwards. She relaxed soon enough and was listening to the conversation between him and Cal. "I'm Bonebon by the way. It's nice to meet you." She extended a hand out to shake..whatever he wants to shake it with, if he ever chooses to shake it. "So what brings you down here? Is the amalgamate of knowledge feeling bored?" She asked.

Elysium quickly, whimsically decided, oh, why the fuck not, it's not like it'll do any harm, and dipped into the forethoughts of Call's mind for a moment. He sought nothing but a slight key into their thoughts, but his growing smile stopped short.
He quickly retracted himself from the nightmare's thoughts, feeling almost personally offended by himself and his actions, and nodded, almost solemnly. He quickly muttered an "Indeed, indeed," mentally reprimanding himself for forgetting to ask before skimming someone's thoughts. That was rude, wasn't it? Claustrophobia. Makes sense.
His attention was soon caught by Bone, and he grinned brightly, growing another pair of thin, spindly arms that grew over to shake their hand. "Ah, a pleasure indeed! To answer your question; yes, actually. I realized a small while ago that I hadn't yet been down here, so I thought it might have been as good a time as any!" He chirruped, voice warbling and odd, being spoken from all the mouths at his disposal. A few more had actually grown about his body in odd places, one taking up the entire 'torso' between two arms and grinning wide.

She noted that the creature's expression seemed to fall flat for an instant before turning to Bonebon and Call couldn't stop the small frown. Ah, it was probably none of her business.
"You haven't been down here either?" Call looked on in surprise now. "Well, at least I am not the only one."

Bonebon noticed the shift in his smile too, but thought it was her imagination and payed it no mind. "I thought lots of cultist use the tunnel systems. Aren't these for getting around easier? At least that's what I think. These tunnels are usually empty. Probably because it's so dark. Though I don't think we'd be affected by the dark, we have light sources on our bodies after all. Maybe because it's too...narrow? Cramped? Sorry I'm rambling again." She said, dismissing what she was talking about with a wave of her hand. She still was thinking of a better word to describe these tunnel's lack of inner space though.

"Maybe it's encasing?" Morphodoe suggested, "I mean, well, the walls do sometimes feel narrow. . ." She started rubbing her arms and looking at the walls. 'You know. . . If the exits closed right then and there. . . No one might hear you in the dark underground.' She cringed at the thought.

She frowned, "Sounds like something from Final Destination. I'm pretty sure this area isn't prone to earthquakes so exits closing probably won't happen. Probably." She thought about it then looked up at the ceiling. "If it did then the people aboveground would get stuck here too. They'd probably fall through fissures. Well at least we'd all be in this together! If it happens, I mean." She said, grinning to lighten the mood.

"...I could more than likely get us out of here, in that event, anyways, so there's no real worry!" His grin turned to a softer smile, and he gestured with a hand. "Introductions aside, should we continue on? I'm quite curious as to where this leads." He slithered onwards a few feet, feet and arms and legs melting into a single gelatinous pillar. Mouths turned to little else than amalgamations of jagged, sharp teeth about a gaping hole, leading to nowhere save the Void itself. Elysium's embroidered cloak draped about the better part of his form, hiding him from view.

"Don't these just lead to the town?" She frowned at the idea of exploring this place. "These stretch on for miles! Looking at nothing but rock for 2 hours is tiresome." She said. "If you wanna go to town, the forest route looks better." Why go into town anyway? She thought. They could scare some folks. That sounds nice. "Wanna scare some people?"

Elysium stopped in his tracks, an empty, bony, nose-less face with many eyes appearing in the wake of the smooth, immaculate surface once present. He turned, dozens of pointed teeth interlocking in a smart, crooked pattern, and four eyes blinked at once. "What's the joy in that?" He asked, voice never changing despite the twisted shape of his mouth. The teeth were pulled into a small frown, eyes squinted in confusion. "Is it like.. What you call, a prank? Those are supposed to be.. Humorous, and entertaining, yes?" He swooped and swelled and grew in height as he spoke, growing hands a moment that shifted to paws, then talons, then abstract, pointed limbs of many fingers, gesticulating as he spoke. Confusion and uncertainty etched its way into his tone and whatever expression he was able to level.

Morphodoe watched with fascination at Elysium's shapeshifting. "Yeah. They are." She said, "The fun thing is watching the reactions. Some of them are very silly." She smiled, "I once went into the woods and scared a bunch of tourists. It was really funny!"
