Politics were something Gabriel always had stayed out of. Using aristocrats and human royalty to get what he wanted, was something that he had given up long ago, and by the slightest chance of war, Gabriel had left the country to far safer spaces. He was a merchant only, and he did not intend to partake in any war. But listening to the other explaining his plan was quite interesting. "Ah I see, though I do not understand one thing. If you are a selective secret society, how come there are even commoners? And if it is not too much to ask, in which part of the country does your kind roam. You see I'm from England too and even though it is very clearly possible that I never heard about others of my kind, or at least related to my kind, I still wonder how. I have searched to find others and I do had my ears enough in others gossips. On the other hand I never much left London and only that, for either visiting someone on their grounds, or to go to other cities."
While Azzan seem to struggle holding still, Kain rolled up while munching on a piece of meat, totally content with lying in this closed off space. Gabriel had powered him out earlier so he could go into his shop without the Cambion rampaging through it. After the meal he would probably sleep.

"I'd rather not give the location of my kingdom, but we have commoners because they fuel the Royal Family. Our commoners are humans, the only ones who know our secret. We use them for their blood. I disagree with our ways. And when I voted change, no one heard me. Tarquin addressed Jeu and laughed at what she said. "Political? With my father?
No, I'd need a few more friends on my side to make him see that I can talk to people. But training is only just starting. I started on the way to the Cult but it was nothing big. I need to throw myself into it now." He shook his head. "Your buddy is a hungry thing. I could go hunting for meat if you want. Anytime, just call me." He pulled a golden whistle out of his pocket, covered with designs and engraving with jewels. He held it out for her. "You can use this if you want."

"I see." He also disagreed about the usage of humans for feeding off the other vampire had. There were multiple ways to do it today without needing to kill or hugely harm them, at least for Gabriel and if anything there was the man knew about, it was that humans would do anything for a bit of money. Even donating blood for a 'good cause'.
He looked at Jeu, realizing once more on why he took interest in converting with her in the first place. She was very wise for her age and did not hold back her own tongue if needed. "I can add to that, that human blood at least for me, holds on longer than that of animals, if that is what you plan to feed your subjects. I do not know of your customs but as far as I have experienced it first hand, drinking from an animal does give far less than drinking blood from humans." He shook his head shortly, trying to remember what he wanted to tell Jeu, it just had been there a moment ago before the subject went on to that of feeding.
"Ah yes, Jeu soon I want to go into the woods to show Kain how to hunt for rabbits and other small creatures, I could take Azzan with me and we can meet up afterwards for a cup of tea?" He smiled gently o the woman, face changing for the moment he focused on her, from the stoic look he had taken on, back to the usual gentle smile on his face.

"They can live off a mixture of animal blood and human food. It is possible. I have a friend offering me blood, but I'm going to take it. She should know I won't." Tarquin shook his head. "Political foundation and stability. If I do go back to my kingdom, I have to pick a wife almost immediately." He sighed, leaning back on the counter.
