Tfw you have a kid staying in your house for the weekend so your mom has to buy Easter baskets for all the teens and kids and pretend that they're from the Easter Bunny and you have to go along with it

My cousin would almost always celebrate easter at our place, together with her mom (She actually still does), so my mom and i would prepare everything, and while the kids were having breakfast one of us would get up (lately mostly me, because my mom got a bad leg a few years ago) and leave for some reason, sneak out into the garden, hide the chocolate in all kinds of places and then go back in, and a bit later the other would get up and HH! There was the easter bunny, i clearly saw it!, and the kids would storm out and search chocolate. I kinda miss doing that but the kids are too old anyway (Not that it stops my mom from hiding the chocolate, just the part with the pretend easter bunny isn't a thing anymore.) |
