"Of course you can have some milk Echo. Hmm, wait a minute....what did you do with that soul Caleum brought back for you anyways?" Enfer asked looking at Echo with a raised eyebrow. He opened the fridge, placing the cupcakes on top of it as he got the milk and poured her a glass.

Echo opened one eye as Enfer placed the glass in front of her, sitting up so she could drink it. "It's still beside my bed. I haven't found the right vessel." She took a sip of her milk.

Ticobell stiffened a bit when he heard that Echo could make minds explode. Well... that sounded just lovely. Although his interest was piqued at the mention of a soul being kept by her bedside. He'd never encountered someone with abilities like that before, and he was especially curious to see what a soul looked like.
Although, he had a mouthful of toast and cheese, so he decided to to speak on it. Too risky.

Echo drank the last of her milk. "Exactly, so it's going to take some time. Should the vessel be human? Will it gain the souls power?"

"Well...the last time this happened, Caleum told me the vessel can still be human, but it would take time for the powers the soul has to develop and come back completely. So to answer your question, yes the vessel can be human," Enfer explained, sitting in his chair backwards, as he rested his chin on the back of it while waving a hand around as he spoke to Echo.

Flame wondered who this Caleum was, and why they had a soul in their posession. But what was Echo doing with a soul of all things?
"Why exactly do you have a soul in the first place?" Flame asked.

Echo laid her head back down. "Since I'm the last of my race, I never got the chance to meet my soulmate. So Enfer's mate Caleum brought his soul back." Echo explained.

"Yeah, what Echo said...Caleum has this "special" ability to bring a dead soul back, but the person needs to find a vessel for it once he brings it back," Enfer explained with a yawn.
"It really sounds like a myth to most people I tell, but it still puts a strain on Caleums body everytime he does it," Enfer explained to the two of them.

Enfer didn't really bother to care as Echo climbed onto his lap, but if she fell asleep, that would be a little too much for him to deal with as he petted her head and left her be for the moment.

"Shoot. Ah well, I guess the cat's out of the bag now. That screaming was actually a hungry demon." He sighed. "The whole incident was a while ago, when I first started screwing around with magic. It was more or less of an accident, but I ended up becoming a host for the thing in exchange for eternal youth. It has its limits, though. All it really means is that I can't age anymore."
