He sighed harshly and then softly breathed out. " I have to get it out someday or i'll contiune to eat me until I die and I can't die." He pressed himself to her wings. The soft feather giving me comfort. He breathed out again, " i can do it."

He looked at her as he held his hands together his his lap. " Whoever was in my house that day, I'll never know but what I do know is they were holding my parents in their room and I didnt know what to do but then I remembered there was safe in the basement that kept a small gun. I went down there and took it out. Started upstairs and enter the room. I held it up and told them to let go of my parents or I would shoot. Of course they laughed at a 10 year old with a gun, they knew i didn't know how to shoot but i gave them several warning before aiming and shooting." Dreamer' eye began to water as his voice shook, he placed his hand on his mouth. " I-I d-didn't mean to miss. H-Honest. The intruder was just standing s-so close to them."

"Oh, Dreamer..." Aly sighed softly, putting her chin softly atop his head. She wasn't quite sure what to say, just holding him quietly as she listened to his shaky breathing. Better give him a moment... poor thing

He pressed his face to her chest. Letting out weak sobs. " T-the force was so strong that, I pressed it a-again. H- How c-could I do t-that. To my own p-parents. I-I didnt mean to. I-I-" he started to sob a bit harder. The eyepatch started to become wet with his tears.

As she listened to Dreamer cry, Aly could feel her own eyes misting. She found a handkerchief from her pocket and floated it next to the crying boy.
"It's alright, Dreamer. It's not your fault," she said gently. "I know that it's hard, but you don't have to blame yourself that much."

" but it is my fault! It's ALL my fault. I pressed the trigger twice and missed! I killed my own parents." He pressed his hand to his mouth then letting go he mumbled " I killed the my only family and I can't take it back. The robber got away with all of our money and knew I was done for. So I did the only think i could of." He leaned away from Aly. " I burned my house to the ground and ran away."

Aly made the handkerchief nudge Dreamer's face. "It's not ALL your fault. You weren't the one who made the robber chose your house." She paused for a moment, then said, "and you joined the cult after that?"

" But I picked up the gun and I can't take it back ever." He graciously took the handkerchief and wiped his eye. " Kinda, i struggled through the forest for days. I was hungry, tired and dirty by the time I made it to the candle store. I ask if they had any job opening or something that i could do to earn for food or water for anything. From there I was introduced to Tapi, she gave me an offer that my 10 year old couldn't resist."

Aly sighed. Of course she did. Because recruiting small helpless children is the best way to maintain a cult. Well, it might be. I wouldn't know.
"Look, I know that must've been hard for you, but you still shouldn't put so much blame on yourself." She paused, then mumbled, "heh, life might've been easier for you if you found me instead of that candle shop." She cleared her throat, then asked, "what kind of offer was it, that was worth selling your soul for, so to speak?"

He lifted his eye up to meet hers, " she offered me a job. I'd be trained to protect the shop and the other resides no question asked and the opprotunity for a new life and if I did a good job, she knew someone who could bring my parents back or at least let me speak to them again. The last part was the only reason I accepted. If I could just say sorry to them, just to apologize, I could finally life in peace" his just brighten up at the idea. But his mood shifted quickly to anger. " The pain of my soul ripping was agony and here I am stuck with this!" He ripped of his eyepatch revealing the flame caring eye. " I haven't seen my parents yet and ive been reduced the most patheic excuse of a human."

Aly looked sympathetically at Dreamer. It was hard not to get angry herself while being this close to him, but she took a deep breath and said, "First of all, don't say that you're 'the most pathetic excuse for a human'. Do you seriously think that having a fiery eye makes you a worse human? And secondly, I'm fairly certain that they wouldn't blame you for this. If one of-" she stopped herself before she could say anything else, then continued, "If I had kid and they shot me by accident, I wouldn't want them to beat themself up over it!" She hadn't meant for her words to get progressively louder, but they had. She quieted again, clearing her throat.

He looked surprised at her outburst and listen closer to the words she began spouting. His face flushed red and his eyes watered as he sniffed as he tried to keep his composure. " Y-You mean that?"

Tears began to stream out of his eyes as he launched himself towards Aly. His arms wrapped around in an embrace he face burried into her chest. He weakly spoke out, " sometimes I dream of being normal. Wishing out of these chains and even on rare occasional hearing my parents call out to me but I know it not real because they would never call me Dreamer." He tiredly laid his head again her.
