The boy sighed, " I won't lie, I didn't either but we have to rest at least a little." He rubbed his hand against his face in defeat, " I know the situation is tough but until can get new info. I can't help but worry... Anyways let us eat something before going any further. You still need to be informed."

A hole opened in the wall in the same place it had previously and Laevith slithered out, tossing a bloody potato sack onto the ground with a squelching thunk, and wiping her hands on a lacy handkerchief.
"I'm back, and I brought leftovers," she said to nobody in particular. "Are we talking business now?"
