The boy laughed softly, " how the tables have turned. I remember those days. I love those days as cheesy as they were and as much of an asshole you were at times. I still liked those days." His smiled softly and he held onto him, his smile faded as he got a sad look on his face"..... I miss those days..."

"Stop being sad, you're going to make me sad again too. Let's just be happy that we are together again and you're out of that cage." Astrael pulled dreamer closer and on his lap, putting his wings around him in a hug as well. "At least we still have each other, right?"

" Sorry, hard to stay optimistic when your blind, tired and hurt." He moved a little in his lap to get comfortable. He laid his head on his chest. His eyes looked calmly downwards as he felt his wings wrap around him in comfort. " Yeah, at least we have each other. Thats all i could ask for."

Astrael buried his face in the others hair and hummed in content. "I love you. I love you so much and I'm going to get us out of this. I promise. I'll kill that asshole and I'll get back your sight." He hugged tighter and sighed.

Dreamer pressed his face harder into his face. His hands wrapped around his waist. " When were free, i'll be healed enough to get our burn marks off. I promise. I-I don't know what ill do with my sight but you'll still love me even if I never get to see again right?"

The demon hesitated to answer. He really didn't know if he could handle not being able to help Dreamer forget what happed. All he wanted to do was help him not remember the tragedy after they got out. "Yeah... Of course, why wouldn't I love you...." He internally cringed and tried to keep his voice steady.

Looking at his eyes as best as he could guess, smiling softly and squeezing his hand. He hesitated and said quietly, " Astrael, when you try to kill Addi. I'd feel better if... If maybe... We fused."

Astrael reluctantly looked at Dreamer and sighed. "I'm sorry, I just, I know you're the one affected but its getting to me too. I just want to help you. And fusion is a good idea, but what if Morph can't see? We can't fight completely blind."

" Morph will be able to see. I know because your demonic side overwelms me when we fuse so it's likely they'll be able to see. I have great hope that we will win." His hands clenches around his hands. His eyes closed as he tried to find peace, but he struggles as one of his hand unconsiously reached up to tenderly touch his brand, which was coincidently over his heart.
