Tea shuffled along, dragging his feet. He felt heavy, so heavy. There was a blade in his breast pocket he needed to give to Alulle. There was tar in his veins. There was a weight in his stomach he hadn't felt in months. There was an ache in every joint, every organ, especially the one beating in his chest. Everything hurt.
So. Heavy.
The woods were dark. They reminded him of the last time, the very last time, he'd tried to escape this life. Would he succeed this time? Or . . . was he damning himself further. Heaviness increased as his mind wandered to those he had hurt. Their screams. Their faces. So . . . many.
Would he survive? Would he really?

" Mind if we have a chat? " That was all he gave before stepping out in front of the 'monster's ' path, blending into the shadows perfectly save for that bright round eye of his beast, King. Blood red flashing every time it reflected the small amount of moonlight given to the chilling night. " I have a few... things to get off my chest. " Sharp and cold, his tone was devoid of any feeling besides disgust for the skinwalker.
" I'm sure you can help." Aiden clenched his fists, back popping as he rolled his shoulders. The iconic smirk of the puppeteer hadn't been on his countenance, not since her de- The man's scowl deepened, " And It's not a request."

Tea stiffened and backed up immediately. His very veins felt tight at the appearance of the Puppeteer, ducking his head behind his collar as his eyes widened. Aiden was so much angrier than usual.
Normally Tea would glare and snip back at him. It was . . . difficult to do this while the other looked so . . . off. Still, his brow furrowed and he managed, "The fuck do you have worth getting off your chest?" Because last he'd checked, there was nothing in Aiden's chest.

Aiden gave a hollow - almost pained laugh, " Are you that stupid! To think you'd get away with that fucking stunt!" Tea was hiding - he was afraid - and right now Aiden had the advantage. He sneered voice low and threatening, " I won't let you get away with it, and it has been awhile since I kicked your ass. " The smaller man stalked forward, a little clearer to those golden ringed eyes.
He wasn't going to let this one slide by, " You crossed the line you monster. " His obsidian boots crushed the crisp leave. This edge of the forest absent of life - and he knew why. " Now face your punishment." Though, on a good note, the silence, would make Tea's screams so much sweeter echoing through this desolate area.

Tea bristled, digging his heels into the ground as he summoned his hammer defensively. Liam wasn't here to stop him. Lance wasn't here to pierce him with his blades. Despite what the Puppeteers believed, this land was not theirs.
And Tea knew it well. He had the upper hand.
Gripping the hammer tight in his fists, his eyes glowed as he growled, "You called that ass kicking?" Then he feigned a snort. "You don't get the luxury."

Aiden sighed in exasperation, anger barely restrained as he took in Tea's actions, belittling the giant's words. " Shall I show you some tricks then? I've learned a few things. " Flexing his own claws he growled at the taller, " You skinwalkers always think you have the upper hand don't you?" He'd dealt with these beasts before ... he could do it again... Tea was no different.
There was no going back.

Tea snarled. Fucking . . . he swung his hammer in a wide arc. As he did so, he screamed, "I'm not yours to punish!" Soon he wouldn't be anybody's. Except . . . he cut himself off before the fear could distract him.

Aiden ducked - Tea's movement slow, too slow to be of any real threat to the puppeteer. The smaller knew that's how he would start, he knew the giant's fighting
- he knew it's weaknesses.
" So predictable. " Stepping forward lowly he sprang up, open palm making contact with the bottom of the other's chin painfully. The same movement had Aiden throwing his elbow down into the stunned skinwalker's collarbone, he wanted this to be a quick fight, and he would do anything in his power to make it so.

The hammer disappeared from his hands and he gasped at the impact. Stunned, he found himself staggering back and down. Landing hard on his backside, he struggled to breathe through the pain momentarily before hissing, "What brought this on, asshole?" He'd crossed several lines lately. Which one had triggered this? Lying still to gather his wits and await the next strike, he bided his time.

Aiden shook his wrist, slightly, eyeing the beast below him carefully as he stalked in a circle, just out of Tea's reach. " Don't you know? - I thought it would be obvious. " He bristled in aggravation. " But of course you don't know beast, all you know is pain and carnage! "Aiden pulled himself back, waiting for Tea to try and continue on his foolish path." I don't have to explain my reasoning to a creature like you."

Tea shoved himself up off the ground when he realized Aiden wasn't advancing. He glared, unwilling to get into this age old argument with Aiden. Once he'd turned, Aiden had stopped believing Tea was capable of anything other than violence.
His chest hurt, but that didn't stop him from launching forward and hitting Aiden's waist, knocking him down. So Aiden wasn't going to give him reasoning. Then he wouldn't waste his breath saying he was sorry. "For a walking emotional void," he snarled as he brought Aiden to the ground, "you spend a lot of time talking about things you don't have."

Aiden gasped loudly, the air forcibly knocked out of him as the puppeteer hit the ground with a clatter, Tea's form, though light, adding to the pain of being pinned. That old spark of hate returning at Tea's - false- words - " You fucking shit! " even on the ground the smaller man struck, although with not as much force as he had anticipated the raven keeper aimed for a nerve on the giant's neck. Digging his thumb into the sensitive area. " I didn't fight your dumb asses just to be taken out by you of all people! "

Tea's eyes went wide at the fingers on his pressure point. Gasping and sliding off the other, he slowly gave in to the pressure that normally forced him on his hands and knees. Whimpering as he body obeyed the instilled command, he then proceeded to snarl out, "Get your goddamn hand off of me!" He clawed at Aiden's wrist, tearing veins as he dragged his fingers down his skin.

Aiden recoiled, rolling back and away from Tea as he grit his teeth in pain - claws, those fucking claws - Black oily blood hit the rocks below their feet with a sickening sound, " Goddamn monster." He watched the other whimper an tremble under his attack, red eyes narrowing in the darkness, and free hand pressing against the newly aquired gashes littering his arm.
" That too much for you? " the puppeteer snarled, anger ebbing away as pained filled its place as he stood slowly.

The scent of blood pierced his nostrils, the odor tinted with something else. He jerked away from Aiden before grabbing the other by the throat with one hand. Seizing the wrist that had hit his pressure point, he squeezed the slicked skin hard enough he felt the bone crack. "Is this," his talons dug into the already bleeding, breaking arm, "too much?" He honestly thought he was going light on Aiden for attempting to hurt him the way Liam had in the past. "I can go harder." With that he twisted Aiden's wrist.
