Enfer was relieved to hear this as his ears twitched hearing a familar voice crry out as footsteps ran down the hall frantically.

"Mama!"

Enfer's eyes widened when he was tackled by Rasmus who was in tears, sobbing against his mothers chest. "Rasmus? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Enfer asked, worried about his hatchlings safety. "I...I smelled you...your blood. I-I was...was so scared," Rasmus whimpered, tears still streaming down his cheeks as his mismatched eyes looked up into Enfer's who gave him a kind look.
"You don't need to worry, I'm fine," the hybrid pet his sons head as he approached the new mattress, collapsing face first with a loud groan,"now leave mommy alone, after this Puppeteer fiasco I don't think I'll be able to move for a good couple days."

Ignoring what his mother had said, Rasmus clung to Enfer's tail as it hung off the edge of the bed as Enfer let out a threatening growl that most animals would do to their young to say "don't bother me." Rasmus backed off, going to sit beside Echo as Enfer tried to fall asleep.

Rasmus, let out a low growl, almost like a purr as he closed his eyes, falling asleep beside Echo as his scales acted like a radiator, switching from hot to cold every now and then to keep his temperature steady.
