In honor of Halloween that draws near, I would like to know what makes your cultsona so terrifying. Do they mess with your mind? Do they tear people apart? Or is their cooking really, really bad? Lay it all out here!
The scariest thing about Mordant is his power. Yes he swallows things and can regurgitate them, but what happens to the things that go inside of him? Mordant's stomach is a void so it can never be full, but the things that enter don't float about as if in a pocket dimension, they are UNMADE. When you are swallowed you for that second blinked out of existence and became nothing. When he regurgitates you, he essentially puts you back together as if nothing ever happened. That's why it seems no time has passed whenever he spits out an item, it retains the appearance and qualities of when Mordant swallowed them.
But what if he didn't put the item or the person back together just as he found them?
It isn't unfathomable that he could misplace limbs or forget a liver here or there, spitting out an amalgamation of parts rather than a person.
Or what about memories?
He could remake a person, but leave out their history: no name, no loved ones, no knowledge of where they are or who they are.
He could consume dreams, aspirations, and personalities and the person would not recognize something went missing when Mordant pulls them from the void.
As a wendigo he has the ability to consume anything he wants. So watch out if he comes to get you... he might leave you alive, but maybe you'll lose something else that's precious.
That's the scary part of his potential. The only reason he doesn't do this is because he is too simple to know that he can. He was relatively young and isolated when he learned his powers. When the cult enhanced his powers he could have done this, but he sold his soul and his powers are limited to returning everything as it was. But just know that Mordant could have been a terrifying monster. More so than he already is.

For Bonebon I guess the most terrifying thing is that portal in her head. Like it leads to a different dimension even she doesn't know of. Anything could pop out of there, a human? Yes. Some man eating dragon? Yes, and other weird things. Not to mention not everything there follows her orders, they could easily devour her too. And things can also get in that portal. She could dunk someone's head in so that it'll be shredded or eaten or see whatever thing is in there at the moment.
There's a whole other world in her head, literally.

Hm. Tea isn't that scary, but him being linked to a creature that embodies nightmares is pretty badass. And his hyper form is pretty intimidating. But normally I'd say there's nothing to fear about the giant sipping tea in his corner. Aside from his connections at least.

Hmm. Aly isn't usually very scary, but she can do some pretty terrifying stuff, from driving someone insane by shredding their mind, to tearing sometime apart bit by bit. Out go the teeth, then the eyes, then the internal organs yanked right out. All it'd take would be a focused thought.
So yes to the "mess with your mind" and yes to the "tear people apart" thing as well.
Her hyper form is also pretty intense (and good for Halloween), but I won't talk about that here

Enfer isn't really scary, it's Dante that you should be afraid of, especially when they go into hostile mode, he'll torture his victim in the most brutal ways as slowly and as painful as he possibly can, making sure his victim is still alive while laughing at his preys screams of agony before ripping out their still beating heart and eating it before their lifeless eyes then burning the corpse to ash or saving it to eat later...which ever comes first.

Yeah, Whispers not that scary. Unless you've pissed her off in which case she's
pretty scary. When she's mad, she will probably enter your mind and make you do something stupid, like jump off a building. Or make it sound like a really good idea to try burning yourself.
And then there's the whole shape shifting thing. (Okay, I know I probably haven't described her hippocampie form, but imagine it like a horse crossed with a sea serpent) She is the kind of person who will crush you in the coils of her tail, eat the remains and then go after your next of kin. So yeah, don't make her mad.

Flame could seem intimidating for being a higher up but there's not much that's scary about her.

Call doesn't seem that scary when you first look at her, although those fangs might throw you off for a minute given that they're the only remotely human part visible on her body under that cloak. However, the scariest part about this entity is her true form, which is hidden under the cloak, concealed so that no one can see her shifting mass of black flesh. She's a hybrid of all sorts of creatures with enormous front legs, pointed ears, and dangling arms in random places, to name a few. Not to mention the fact that now she has a burn on the side of her "face" thanks to the Puppeteers, which she plans on keeping concealed forever from any and everyone. She could give you nightmares alone with her true form. No living being would look at her the same way again if you saw what she truly looked like (after all, she is a NIGHTMARE entity)...

Ticobell may be the equivalent of an easily flustered squeaky toy, but when he snaps and goes into hyper mode, he can and will kill you and ressurrect you as many times as he can until he passes out from exhaustion. And if he isn't playing with your life, he'll be busy carving up your flesh all the way down to the marrow, laughing maniacally at your screams of pain the whole time. Thankfully he's weak enough that it'll only last for a couple of hours at best.
And this is why you don't call him taco, kids.

Cervi is spoopy because of his claws and horrifying appearance when angered. but his normal look is just a ploopy puppy really.

A-153 isn't scary at all. Just a giant curious screamy child. Well, I guess it could suffocate you with it's goo, or dissolve your flesh in it's second protective layer. But it's unlikely to do that. I don't think it's ever had to yet.
