She smiled at her, she was sweet. She held her hand. "The scratching might be mice? Or...something else?" she gripped Whimsy's hand tighter. If something attacked them she was done for. She couldn't fight if she couldn't see.

She smiled, she was sweet. Time to give up her life for her. "Thanks. But I'll do my best too!" she said as she removed her hat and let the tentacles inside fall out freely.

"Whoooa. Haha. Cool" Whimsy grinned, staring at the tentacles with fascination in her eyes, "but seriously, if we get to deep into trouble, I can teleport us out of here. So don't get into battle mode just yet!" She giggled.

Dante said, his voice wavering as he dug his claws into his head, trying to hold back tears as repeated something under his breath over and over again.

Whimsy stared at Dante with eyes wide for a second, her face a blank sheet of paper.
"You're not broken." She said, "You were just mad right? The fact that you're still here, makes you the opposite of broken. Sure you may need some fixing, but I promise you that you're not broken. The day you give up on life, you break." Whimsy stared at him with firm eyes, all signs of playfulness gone.

Dante couldn't hear what they were saying, he was scared, he was so scared. His eyes moved frantically a look of terror and fear in them as he said in a scared tone,"I...I...I, don't want...want to-to go through that again....pl-please, I beg of you!"

She noticed the scratching noise grow louder, she shook Dante by the shoulders and slapped him, "It's an illusion! Wake up!"
