Both Dante and Enfer used their fire like Amaya had said, watching Backbones roared in fury at the flames that began to engulf him.

Morphodoe snapped her fingers and her summons were engulfed by flames. She pointed them at the incoming skeletons and they charged forward, attaching themselves to the skeletons and slowly burning them. Morphodoe turned her wrist upward and the flames strengthened. However, she still had to kick any enemies that came to her direction.

Echo channeled her fire onto her sword, slashing and burning skeletons with it. She watched as the blue flame turned the bones to ashes.

Shrieking now at his own bones burning the war lord called a retreat, earth snapping up around him and his surviving forces and vanishing them below the ground.
Sides heaving Amaya glanced around and allowed her focus to fade and fire to putter out,
"I doubt that's the last of it," she began sipping her brow "whatever this 'Backbones' wants he seems determined to get it, this curse hasn't faded after all."

"Can you track him that far? Not to mention-" Amaya cut off as a long thin spear of bone pierced the floor beneath her and punctured through her hock, the joint cracking beneath the force and blood pouring out, a strangled scream issuing from her mouth at the burning pain.
The ground began to rumble as the spear retracted, splitting below them and revealing a massive hand of bone, easily as large as Dante and sharpened to points.
It was followed by a huge shoulder and part of a rib cage, skull slowly emerging, far larger than it had any right to be. "FORGET RECRUITING YOU," Backbones bellowed, having apparently combined his forces into one "I'LL CRUSH YOU ALL FOR INSOLENCE."
"I," Amaya heaved, clearing her voice of fear, "Believe we should run." |

Morphodoe's hair spiked outwards when she saw the large skeleton, and at the mentioning of 'run'she sprinted out of the room in full panic.

"Okay...here's the plan guys, you pet while I.....get the fuck out of here! Bye!" Dante said in his sarcastic tone and grabbed, Enfer and ran as fast as his legs could take him.

Echo opened her wings and flew. She followed Enfer and Dante as they ran.

Hissing in pain when she tried to take a step and her leg collapsed Amaya rolled awkwardly out of the way of a massive fist as it smashed into the cobblestones sending shards of rock flying.
Scrambling off her side Amaya shifted herself smaller and grew a set of wings, taking off awkwardly in the small space and darting from the room after checking it was clear of allies.
The door, frame and most of the wall slammed into the opposite side of the corridor as Backbones charged out, bellowing rage and entering pursuit.

Elysium felt laughter bubbling up from his throat, try as he might to control it. Sure, he could have stayed back, maybe popped the head off of that thing, but what was the point? All his backup had left, so, he did, too.
His arms turned to tendrils, reaching upwards and latching themselves into the crevices of the ceiling above as he swung forward, easily catching up and nearly overcoming the others. He crossed his legs at his ankles behind him, and sprouted another pair of arms to clasp behind himself as well, looking very concentrated all the while.

"Do you think we can burn it?!" she yelled to the others. Did they even have time to stop and engulf it with flames before it killed them? "Elysium! Mind giving us a hand?"

"How many?" He asked, at least ten other arms sprouting from his form as he grinned. Using his momentum to launch himself back towards the thing, he threw back his hood with one of the sets of hands, suddenly expanding until he had plastered himself completely across the thing's face.
Then he set himself on fire.

Swinging its bead furiously Backbones bizarre culmination clawed at it's own face, desperately trying to dislodge the burning oil, snagging bones still in the goop as it did so.
Pivoting in the air Amaya spun to head back towards the creature, now that Elysium had rather effectively distracted it she had time to take stock of it and it's defences.
The armours and cloth that had adorned its bodies previously now fell randomly on its huge form, gaping holes in it's defences leaving bones, and what appeared to be earth and stone, exposed to the air.
Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and Amaya had a handful of napalm she had to keep from reacting, lobbing the gelatinous liquid at one of the gaps it soared in and lit immediately.
((feel free to manipulate backbones as you want guys! You don't have to wait for my slow butt to be on))
