ALL THESE SUPER-POWERFUL SUPERNATURAL CREATURES
HOW ABOUT NO
Name: Smith
Rank: Snackrifice (currently; always seeking to advance)
Original Power: None properly. Skilled blacksmith and rune-enchanter. Also receives visions on account of frequent runic use, these range from moments of inspiration to actual sights of the future.
Power Gained After Joining The Cult: With their soulflame powering their forge, Smith's precision in smithing runic enchantments has grown to new heights. They would tell you, though, that their visions are entirely new.
Weaknesses: Smith is a classic wizard, entirely dependent on their “spellbooks” for magic.
Additional abilities/strengths: Minor combat skills with a few different weapons, not much.
Age/How Old You Appear: Intentionally hidden. (upper 20s.)
Age You Joined The Cult: 26
Height: 6'2". Or at least, that's what you see. Hard to tell with those boots on.
Skin color: Intentionally hidden. (Naturally a moderate white, but frequently ruddy from the forge's heat.)
Race: Intentionally hidden. (Slavic White, not that anyone knows.)
Weight: 150-200 pounds, plus a ton of leather.
Body Type: Bulky for female, moderate to slim for male.
Eyes: Red irises, stained by magical exposure. Otherwise typical human.
Hair: Intentionally hidden. (Dark brown with the roots turning red for the same reason as the eyes.)
Scars: Intentionally hidden. (Nothing on the face, but plenty of marks from blacksmithing mistakes and deep scars on each bicep.)
Special Physical Attributes: Covered in runic scarifications designed to focus runic insights, not that they ever let anyone see these.
Clothing: Leather armor from head to toe made of blue scales; creature of origin is [REDACTED]. Cowl and mask hide face except eyes.
Physical Description Paragraph: Everything is slightly wrong about Smith. Their eyes, from colors to the way they look around, just don't seem appropriate. Sometimes their bulk seems to be just the thick leather, other times Smith seems barely contained by a few scraps on top of their skin. If your character can see ethereal aspects, the lack of a soulflame and a "shadow" of sorts hovering like a double image of Smith don't seem to have any explanation.
Family: None that they care about.
Quirks: Very focused. Conversation is not forthcoming. But Smith is one of those nerds who will go on for hours about something they are passionate about, though this will often turn dark as such passions are why they are so intent on strength. Will sometimes become broody and dark, speaking of the future in cold ways and discussing people in terms of strength.
Goals: Developing more spells and magic; style is too different for much learning from other sources. Some focus on brutally improving self and others.
Interests: People with strangely different abilities.
Habits:
Vices (drinking, smoking, yogurt): Unhealthily lonesome. Also can be harsh with self and others.
What Does Your Room Look Like: It’s a literal cave with poetry written in runes all over the walls and ceilings - and in some places, even the floors. It’s well-lit and clean in most areas, but hardly homey. Chambers include a bedroom, a small armory with shopkeeping table, and the foundry.
Personality: Tends to be friendly - until you screw up. Unsettles others by alternately joking about light mistakes or snapping about them harshly. Prefers social interactions to be like combat, quick and efficient.
Likes: Challenging abilities, both theirs and others’.
Dislikes: People being comfortable around them.
Preferred Food Source: Bread, meat, and disturbingly high amounts of spinach. They'll make you something special in exchange for prune juice.
Group Dynamics: Putting this person in a group without designating them as the leader is risky. They are effective at carrying out orders, but are suspicious of higher authorities.
Friends: Nobody especially close.
Allies: Formerly a historian and linguist of minor note; has connections from then.
Enemies: Unknown, but heavily implied to exist.
Rivals: None yet.
What Do You Consider Your Position In The Cult: Recruited, currently seeking to organize members militaristically, though with no clear objective or opponent.
What Do You Do For The Group: Enchanting a wide variety of items, including assisting with the post-Pups improvements to the mansion.
How You Joined The Cult: Recruited explicitly for smithing skills. Tends to be rather independent of the cult, which is tolerated only on account of their usefulness.
If you feel like helping, social aspects of Smith need some help. Also, feel free to ask any questions or for clarifications.
