Dreamer waited outside of his door awaiting for Aly's arrival so they could go out and catch up. After all the event that happened during the takeover and everything had settle down, he found it in his best interest to start interacting with others again. His lover had revealed to him all that he had done to Aly and A and only thought it would be best to meet up with Aly first. He stared straight forward as he listened in for footsteps coming his way.

Aly walked briefly down the familiar hallways, her wings held stiffly under her cloak as always. A small basket of sweets and small baked goods bobbed along after her and her shoes clicked crisply on the marble- well, she assumed it was marble- floor. Cold toes wiggled around inside the stiff leather shoes, and Aly grimaced.
"Dreamer," she called out when she spotted him in front of his door. "I'm here, and I brought treats."

The boy perked up as he heard footsteps stop int front of him. He raised his eye up to meet Aly, only to be off y a little. He smelled her treats and immediately brighten up, " They smell amazing." He said as smilled at his friend and glanced towards the smell.

Aly smiled sadly at her friend, then held the basket towards her friend. "They're here," she said, and nudged his arm with the basket. She glanced at him, and she swiped at dampening eyes with a hand. She couldn't help any of her friends, could she? "How're you doing?" She asked gently, sitting down next to him.

" I've been.... Okay." He said as his hand slipped in to pick up a treat and investigate it a bit. He looked a bit in distressed as he throught about a few weeks ago. " Its been hard. I still have to adjust to my current... Status and the nightmares arent helping."

Aly sighed softly and brushed her wing against his arm softly. He looked so tired... "Nightmares?" She asked, concerned. "How bad?" She took a taffy and popped into her mouth, then added, "Do you need anything? A cane?"

" Ast has to shake me out of it most nights. I'm so frighten that even when im awake i cant seem to grasp reality. " he tiredly rubbed his eye as he ate his sweet slowly. " No, i dont need a cane. I need to learn how to go without one. "

'Poor thing,' Aly thought sadly. 'It's not supposed to be like this, not in this century.' She could feel his mind flickering erratically, like the soldiers she's seen go home. Like her friend, they were battered and always missing something, physically or mentally.
"It would be easier for you of you can tell where your going. Or are you afraid that a cane would cement your fate as someone who is blind?"

Dreamer clenched his fist together. He was still frustrated on his blindness and everything that happened, it was still a sore subject for him. " Aly. What's a knight without it's sight. Have you ever heard of a blind knight." He laughed slightly and ran his hand through his hair " of course not! It doesnt exist because if it did they would dead." His laughs got hysterically as he finished off say, " Isnt that funny? A blind knight..... Isn't... It?"

Aly shook her head slowly, her flaming hair swirling around her face.
"Just because others haven't done it, doesn't mean you can't," she said softly. "It isn't funny because you aren't a joke, Dreamer." She rubbed his arm softly with a wing, a pitiful attempt at comforting.

" I just dont know what to do. Everything that I worked for, everything i strived for...." He sighed as he glanced down where he knew his hands would be and clenched his hand and unclenched tiredly " .. It's just...gone and not only can i never see again but i have to live with the constant reminder of who did it." He states as he pressed his hand over his heart, knowing the brand still lied underneath.

Aly glanced at his hand as he pressed it on his chest, and she felt her own chest tighten. That's where they branded him, then. Perhaps... Perhaps if she had a better grip on her abilities she could fix everything... But she can't do anything, as always.
"You can't give up," she exclaimed. "There has to be someone in the cult with healing abilities who can fix you." She thought bitterly about how so many people were clamoring about being a 'family' but when it came down to it, so many were just saving their own skins.

" Ast would help me forget, but because of my blindness. He cant make real eye contact to actual do it." He sighed and rubbed his face tiredly, " The best thing for me to do it accept what happened and move on but it's going to take me forever because of all the things I had to go through." He reached torward her wings and pet them as a form for comfort. A small smiled reached his lips as he stroked the soft feathers

Aly smiled sadly as he pet her wings. That's probably the most she could do, she thought dejectedly.
"I hope you do get better," she offered quietly. "I'll help you in any way I can."

" Thank you Aly. I'd really just want to relax with someone. Everywhere I go someones gotta fuss over me. Please try to treat me like you normally would." He responsed and then took another pastry from the basket. " also.... I want to check on you... I heard what you had to go through..."
