Circus was sitting on a large blueish grey rounded rock in the forest munching on pickles from her seemingly endless supply and occasionally switching to her third eye to see what was going on elsewhere. she ran her hand over the cracks in the rock aimlessly fidgeting with the moss and small glowing muishrooms inevitably poping up wherever she went. she felt the candle flame in her chest flicker suddenly, was something there? "is anyone here..?" she called into the forest

Fantast was out exploring a new section of the forest and munching on a small bag of pine cones they'd collected earlier.
They were about to get a closer look at a particularly interesting group of ferns when they heard a voice.
Their head flames perked up briefly as they moved cautiously towards the source of the voice.
"Yes," they responded as they peeked around a large trunk. Seeing what appeared to be a slightly familiar mushroom covered cat sitting on a rock. "Are you a member at the candle shop?"

"oh its you, hello" "yes I am a member of the candle cult" she said to the familiar seeming creature who's head had just poped out form behind a large tree.

Alyxrie was in the forest to collect materials for her next project and was muttering to herself that not bringing weapons was a bad idea when she heard someone speak. She ducked behind a tree and pressed her wings against the trunk, then turned her head so she could see them as well as hear them. 'The candle shop?' She thought, 'both of them are members? I'm not sure if I've seen either of them.'

"Ah, I thought I recognized you," they said as they moved out from behind the tree. "I don't think we've met... properly before. My name is Fantast it's nice to meet you!"

"nice to meet you to~" she said to the tall rubbery figure "care for a pickle?" she said gesturing twoard the half empty jar by her side. "wait I feel another presence.." she said switching to her third eye "theres someone else here I think" "helloooo" she called into the forest

Alyxrie snapped her head back behind the trunk. 'How did they know?' She took a deep breath and stepped out from behind the tree, proclaiming, "Hello. I'm Alyxrie. Don't worry about me overhearing you, I'm a member of the candle cult as well." She paused and then, stepping lightly towards the pair, asked, "how did you know I was here?"

"oh hello then" "I have spies everywhere~" She said cryptically. "care for a pickle?" she said gesturing toward the jar "its always nice to meet fellow candle cult members"

Fantast looks over to the newest member of this small gathering. "Hello, Alyxrie. Nice to meet you!" they said before turning back to the cat, who's name they still didn't know. "I appreciate the offer but I have my own snacks for now," they said while pointing to their bag of pine cones.
They paused for a moment. "You can have one if you want?" they said looking between the cat and Alyxrie, and while the sentence wasn't meant to be a question it still came out like one anyway.

Alyxrie shook her head. "Thanks, but I prefer human food." She's turned towards the cat-like creature that had proclaimed itself Circus and, after a moment of hesitation, reached out and picked a pickle out of the pickle. She took a small nibble of the pickle, and hummed slightly in satisfaction. "What're you two doing out here, anyway?"

"Well, I'm pretty sure the seeds are edible," Fantast said, "though maybe not big enough on these ones to be worth the effort. I just thought I'd offer." They took a moment to retrieve a cone from their bag and toss it in their mouth letting a few larger flames out in the process. "Anyroad," they said, "I was just out exploring this part of the forest. You?"

"as for me I spend a lot of time here" "easier for my mushrooms to grow yaknow?" she said gesturing to the small glowing mushrooms steadily pushing their way through the soil. besides there's really not much reason for me to go into town besides from the candle cult. My spies let me see whats going on for the most part" she said puting another pickle into her mouth.
