EchoDante sung under his breath, thinking to himself,"off my wings and come lock me up. Just pull the plug yeah, I've had enough. Tear me to pieces, sell me for parts. You're all vampires so here...so you can have my heart..." Dante really disliked the fact that his younger brother Enfer had found his mate, yet he hadn't found his own. With a huff he sat down, picking up a leaf and burning it as he watched the orange flame dance in his palm before the leaf turned to ash, falling to the ground. he continued doing this until he heard footstep, causing him to tense up, looking around for whoever was approaching him.

Echo was walking around, looking for flowers when she heard someone singing. She stopped and listened, then chose to head that way. The voice sounded familiar in a way, and the song called to her. She soon came across a man. 'He must've been the source of the song.' She thought

Dante looked up, noticing the girl,"hello..." He said, turning his attention back to the leaves he burned as he hummed his song to himself. He had arranged the ashes of the leaves into an abstract pattern into the grass. It was the symbol of his clan, a picture of a flame, since his clan was skilled in using fire more than anything.

Echo watched him. "Hi." She walked a little closer to see what he was making. After a few minutes she started humming. It was normal now, for her to him that song. It was practically engraved in her soul

Dante looked to Echo and smiled,"so come rain on my parade....cause I wanna feel it, come shove me over the edge. Cause my head is over drive. I'm sorry but it's too late, and it's not worth saving...so come rain on my parade..." Dante sung quietly, not really knowing what he felt when he heard the girl beside him begin humming her own melody, but he liked it. "I think we're Doomed...I think we're doomed, and there's no way back..." He hadn't realized how natural it became for him to sing when she was nearby, but he ignored it for now

Echo laughed and began singing her own song softly. "I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'd never let you go....when all those shadows almost killed your light." She sat down beside the man. "I remember you said don't leave me here alone...but all that's dead and gone and passed tonight."

Dante froze, listening with a look of awe as he continued smiling, his grin growing as he closed his eyes, continuing his own song. "You must've made some, kinda mistake...I asked for death, but instead I'm awake. The devil told me, no room for cheats. I thought I would my soul, but he kept the receipt..."

She picked a few flowers by her feet. "Don't you dare look out your window, darling everything's on fire....the war outside our door keeps raging on."
