"This way," Dante said as they walked through a forest and toward what looked like a tunnel. It was made of tree branches that arched over each other. The sunlight shine through a little as the two kept walking until they came to the cliff. Rose bushes of multiple colors littered the sides while strange crystals grew at the very edge of the cliff.
Dante walked over to the edge and looked down to see a lake. He closed his eyes and sighed, it was calming since no one but himself knew about this place.

Echo followed him. "Wow." She looked around. "It's almost like a whole nother place."

"At night, these crystals glow and the water will reflect the light," Dante said. He turned around to face Echo and began to lean back, feeling himself fall as he opened his wings just before he hit the water, allowing the air to catch beneath them. He flapped his wings and flew up, mainly gliding as he waved to Echo.

Echo laughed and sat down. "Any legends about this place?" She called. It was beautiful, and beautiful things usually had legends.

"Well, mother used to tell us that two humans came here. She said they always sang lullabies to the spirits that were said to live here...one day, one of the humans went missing and the other was saddened and tried to sing for the other but couldn't mimck it so the other would return to this cliff singing to hope for the day that the other would return. The spirits felt saddened by the humans song and searched for the other but to no avail. The other eventually gave up and walked to the cliff and plummeted into the water below..." Dante said, circling from above. "She didn't die...the spirits granted her with pure white wings, those of an angel. This gift allowed her song to change...to bring back loved ones. When she sang, it did bring back the other, but he changed as well, on his back were giant dragon like wings, making it seem like he was a demon. The other was shocked by his change, but was more greatful to see that he had returned. So the two sang once again, making these crystals glow such a radiant color..." Dante finished his story as he landed, putting a hand on one of the crystals.

Dante nodded. He looked back at his own wings, being reminded of the demon from the story. "The crystals that reside here are two different colors, one jet black, the other white...yet when they shine at night, the colors they make are very beautiful," Dante stated with a smile. Touching the black crystal, feeling a dull warmth beneath his palm, the gem on the choker he wore seemed to glow dimly in response to Dante touching it.

Ech watched him. She pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs, wresting her head on her arms.

The black crystal eventually started glowing a dim red and purple. Dante smiled and approached the white crystal, feeling a cold feeling radiate off it as it began to glow a light blue, blending together with the other color, making a nice shade of purple and blue violet. Dante approached Echo and sat beside her, laying back with a sigh as he looked at the sky.

"Everything here seems magical." Echo sighed. She closed her eyes, the glowing crystals shining through her eyelids.

"So, do you know any forms of magic, because I can teach you...and don't worry, the only people who use statistics here are the ones who grow crops and take care of the animals," Dante stated. "If you don't mind, your home sounds really boring," Dante added.

"I know potions. Mostly healing. And yes, my clan is extremely boring. I loved it though. My brothers made it fun." Echo opened her eyes. "Stars hold magic. You get a wish if you catch one." Echo raised her head, looking at the stars.

"Catching a star....I have an idea! Close your eyes," Dante said with a smile as he sat up. He put a hand over her eyes to make sure they were closed as he then walked off to go make something.
