Echo laughed at the puppy and gently took it from Dante. "It's so cute!" She laughed again. "Meet for Caleum, but Enfer needs vegetables and fruit. He won't be able to eat meat for at least a week."

"Okay, go on little puppy, back to protecting the foods from rabbits," Dante said as he set the puppy down and watched as it ran off. He grabbed a basket that hung from a fence and began picking a few vegetables. He then grabbed a couple fruits off a few trees.

"He's actually one of the few puppies that were just born not too long ago, you could go ask the owner if you could have one. The mother literally had a liter of seven puppies," Dante said, picking off a few apples from a tree. He made sure to check them for any worms or bruises before putting them in his basket.

"I'll go get the meat, I'll be back in a second," Dante said. He walked of and went to talk with the person in charge of keeping the meats and got a couple pounds. He thanked the person as they wrapped it in brown paper and made sure to put it in a separate bag so it would contaminate the fruits.
"I'm back, we can...huh?" Dante noticed some rustling under the vegetables he collected and lifted a leaf to see that puppy had jumped in his basket when he wasn't look and was now chewing on a leaf.

"Well hello little guy," Dante said picking up the puppy as it licked his nose. He laughed when it barked at him, it's tail wagging. "I guess you wanna play?" Dante asked, getting a response of a bark as he set the dog down as it jumped around, barking to get their attention.

The puppy barked happily and put its paws on her knees. Dante picked up a small wood chip and tossed it a few inches away. "Go get it," Dante said in a sweet tone. The puppy looked to the stick and clumsily ran over, picking it up in its mouth and bringing it back.

Echo watched the two and laughed. "You're good with smaller things. Just by playing with a puppy I can tell you're going to be a great Uncle to Rasmus." She smiled.

Dante smiled. "Thanks hummingbird. I've been dealing with so many kids that I'm used to smaller animals or children," Dante explained as he pet the puppy's head. He stood up once again and started walking back to the house, gesturing for Echo to follow

Echo picked up her basket. "I want something smaller than me...Sicurro is too small." She laughed when the mouse peeked out of her pocket and sneaked. She followed behind Dante

"Then I'm sure he'll be just fine for you," Dante said. He pointed down at the puppy that had now followed them half-way from the garden into the center of the village. The woodchip was still in it's mouth as it looked up at the two.

Echo gave a big smile and picked the puppy up. "You're adorable. But don't we have to ask if we can take him?" She looked up at Sicurro. She just realized he was a few feet taller than her. Random thoughts.
