Enfer ran inside the house and jumps into the couch with a relieved sigh. Dante opened an eye to look at his little brother and chuckled. Both of them were pretty tired.

Echo was out pretty soon. She dreamt of giant birds, flower chains, music, and wings.

The next morning Enfer woke pretty early while Dante still slept, tossing and turning in his sleep as he clutched at his shirt.
Within his dream, he was panting heavily, running from some type of shadow, its eyes red as freshly spilled blood as something came to wrap around the males ankle, tripping him as he struggled to get out of it's grasp, clawing at the ground. He cried out for someone to save him but no words came out as everything around him went black.
"Let go...No, Let Go!" Dante shouted as his eyes snapped open and he sat up in a cold sweat, his hand still clutching his shirt tightly.

Echo ran in, hearing Dante's scream. "What's wrong? What happened?!" She asked, her hair messy and her dress crumpled form her sleep

Dante was breathing heavily, a hand over his racing heart as he tried to calm himself. "I...I'm fine, it was just a nightmare, I...wait, where is it? Where is it!? It stops Him from coming after me!" Dante jumped up, scrambling throughout the house in search of the unknown item.

Echo watched him in confusion. "Where's what? Dante please, you're worrying me. Who's going to come after you?" She asked, concern covering her face.

"He...He brings those horrible nightmares! He makes me see the death of my loved ones! I hate it!" Dante shouted as he searched. Enfer approached Echo and said,"I believe I should explain this...You see, in our clan, we are assigned a different beast at birth...I got a dragon from their protectiveness and loyalty......But Dante...Dante got something that frightened both of our parents..." Enfer eyes moved to the floor as he fiddled with his fingers. "Dante was assigned a demon.....this demon has plagued him to horrific nightmares ever since he was a child..." Enfer explained.

"They're just normally meant to represent our personalities...but they're normally for protection in serious situations," Enfer explained with a shrug. Dante came back with a relieved sigh, holding a choker with a red gem attatched to it. "Sorry for startling you Echo," Dante apologized

"No no, not startled, just scared half to death. But I'm okay." Echo nodded. She knew things would be different over here. She just had to get used to it. "Squeak!" Echo jumped, forgetting the friend she had brought yesterday. She looked down at her shoulder at the little white mouse. "Sorry Sicurro, forgot you were here." The little mouse looked angry as it flicked its tail. "Don't look at me like that." Echo sighed

"Hey, doesn't he remind you of Aku?" Enfer asked, looking to Dante who simply stated at the mouse. "Yeah...something about him makes me think I'm gonna have to deal with more than one piece of hell," Dante stated, his eyes slitting. The gem around his neck glowed dimly before the males pupils went back to their normal oval shape.

Echo looked up at Dante and back down at Sicurro. "He's not so bad. A little irritating at times but you get used to it." Echo laughed when Sicurro flicked her with his tail. "Hey! You know it's true!" Echo smiled and looked back up at Dante. "He's good for a laugh. Who's Aku?" She asked, trying to smooth her dress down. She should've brought some clothes. "Also, do either of you have a shirt I could barrow?" She asked

"I have a lot of clothes to big for me....and Aku is our messenger bird," Dante whistled, a raven that was perched on one of the support beams on the ceiling flew down and perched on Dante's outstretched arm. Except, this bird was different from most ravens, it's feathers appeared to move like fire, it was much larger than most, when it cawed, its beak opened to show rows of razor sharp teeth, and it had four blood red eyes that stared at Siccuro. "This is Aku, he's a corrupted raven, a demon in a way, but he grew more attatched to Enfer than me."
Aku cawed angrily at Dante before flying over to Enfer and perching on his head and purring as Enfer smiled and pet him. "Anyways, I'll go get you a shirt," Dante walked off and came back with a black shirt, handing it to the girl.

Echo took the shirt and left to go change. She came back and looked down at herself. "It looks like a dress." She grabbed a blue ribbon and tied it around her waist. "Aku is cute. I like him." She smiled. Sicurro squeaked and hid in her hair. "Scaredy mouse." Echo tied her hair back. "Corrupted?"

"That shirt is pretty big on you...anyways, we call Aku corrupted because that's what he is, when he was just a little hatchling, he got corrupted by some creature out in the forest," Enfer stated as Aku nodded. The bird flew over to the table besides Echo and flapped his wings happily as he cawed. "I think he likes you as well...come here Aku," Enfer said, holding out his arm for the bird to hop onto
