Flame was making her usual ways around again after spending such a long time to herself. She'd needed some clarity again after what happened. The takeover. Tea getting brutally ripped apart. A simmering anger still burned in her her when she thought about it. She had to keep herself clear headed in this cult or it would exhaust her.
She spent her time walking out where she'd usually see snacks in the cult, secretly hoping to see anyone to chat with. She just wandered around, not really thinking about it. Maybe she'd need to get a serious job besides as a guard, but then again why would she do that?
She heard someone coming closer, and recognized Enfer, that dragon guy.
"Hey!" she chirped.
She instantly felt something off about him, he wasn't reacting like last time she saw him.

Enfer's flame on his tail was dim, his eyes were empty and void of any life as he walked. His ears twitched when he heard a voice and looked up to see Flame. It had been a while since he had encountered her. Putting on his facade, he forced a smile and waved,"hey Flame, it's been awhile since we last saw each other."
Enfer only pretended to be happy, on the inside he was broken, his memories scattered, and every ounce of happiness he felt being lost after his gem was taken, but it wasn't like he cared anymore.

"Yeah, how have you been? Got any exciting stories to share?" she asked.
The last time she saw him was when she helped with the books that one was moving. But he seemed less alert now. She didn't comment on why he looked so....dead, was a word she felt to describe him with.
"Did you change your hair also, that's pretty nice." she commented.
Flame felt like she'd have to get into people's affairs again, with the suspicion she had. Although half the time it was just her shoving her way into people's business.

Enfer flinched when she asked about stories, the thought of the day he lost his precious treasure played in his mind and a glimpse of fear flashed in his eyes for a second before it disappeared and he said,"nothing really exciting has happened to me recently...I know Dante and Echo are together now, and thank you for the complement..." Enfer twirled a strand of hair between his fingers.
"Hm...What are you doing here Flame? I'm pretty sure there's other interesting things going on in the cult," Enfer stated. It was true, there were obviously much more interesting things

Flame paused and furrowed her eyebrows, Dante, wasn't that the bird? Flame questioned how a bird and Echo could be together, but just assumed there was more to it.
"So....Dante isn't a bird now?" she asked.
She regretted not keeping track with anything.
"And I was just passing by. If there's more interesting things going on I'll see them, eventually. But I have all my attention on you right now, you seem kinda down." she pointed out.

Enfer laughed under his breath,"no, that was Aku...Dante is the one who usually possesses me...he's a shapeshifter, but now he tends to stay out of my mindscape," Enfer explained. "Trust me, I'm not down or anything, I'm just...thinking," yeah, that's a good word to use.

Flame scolded herself for the mistake, right. Then she hadn't met Dante then.
"Hmmm, well, you seem like you need to talk about something." she insisted.
"Or at least, talk about something that will get a smile back on your face! This cult needs more positivity, I can tell you..." she trailed off.
"Anyway, what happened to that bird, for starters?" she asked.

Enfer pointed to his hood of his coat, he reached back and pulled out the black bird who was asleep, but was no awake as it flew and perched on his head. "Well...I guess when I lost my gem I kinda....hm, what's the word....snapped. Some of my friends say I've lost my mind, and it's true...I'm just.not acting like it at the moment," Enfer explained.

Flame felt a small bit of relief when she saw Aku that that hadn't changed. But what he had said next left her worried.
"Your gem? That sounds pretty important, what does it mean? It's got something, special to it, right?" she asked.
She hoped it did, if it was a normal gem that'd be an extreme reaction.

"I have two hearts...one resided within that gem and the other is still beating in my body...that gem also holds a good amount of my memories as well, so losing it kinda gave me a little memory loss, but I gradually got them back over time," Enfer explained. The hybrid moved the bird from his head to his shoulder and pet it.
"But who am I kidding!? As long as they don't break it, my heart will still keep beating! It's such a silly little thing to worry about!" Enfer's personality changed from sad to psychotic in a heart beat as he laughed.

"Her name was Jeu...if I remember correctly." Enfer scratched his head, trying to remember. Enfer then remembered what happened entirely, the game, the loss, the pain....he took a breath and kept himself from panicking.

The game master? She'd never personally met them, but from what she knew they sounded very interesting. Flame decided she might meet them, if only to talk with them and see what kind of creature they were. Enfer's gem was his business and she'd rather not deal with it.
"Well, from what it seems to me, you should get it back. Don't disregard such an important part of you, or your going to risk losing a lot more about yourself than you think. But make sure you don't mess up." she advised.

"Yeah, I have been thinking of that for quite some time..." Enfer said, scratching his head. "I doubt it'll be very easy to win it back...oh well, guess it wouldn't hurt to try." Enfer sighed and rubbed his temples, it was going to be hell if he tried this again, but what has he got to lose.
