The fallen angel stood in front of greenhouse, her hand hovering in the air before the door. Don’t get your hopes up, she reminded herself, clenching her fist. Even thinking this would help felt wrong. She should just turn around and forget about this stupid idea that honey could actually help her. That acting like this would help was simply proof of her naivety and a further blow to her ego. She pulled away, only to yawn and rub her eyes due to exhaustion.
Her yawning reminded her of why she was doing this. She was naive and she had to admit her ego was the least of her problems at this point. Accepting that was much better than waking up with a hoarse voice from screaming and a cold sweat. Besides, did she really have something to lose?
Sighing, she knocked on the door, calling out, “Hello? Anyone here?”

Eve stumbled back a bit, not expecting such an elaborately dressed women to appear at the door, especially since she was a beekeeper. Looks more like a queen than a beekeeper, she observed. Then again, many cultists didn’t follow the norm.
“Uh… hi.” Eve responded as she eyed the bees hovering around the women’s honey crown. “You’re the one who sells special honeys, right?” The answer was a bit obvious, so she skipped getting an answer and continued, “Do you have one that helps with nightmares?”

Eve trailed behind the woman into the greenhouse, the warm air a striking difference from the slowly growing chills of November. The flowers filled the room, many in which she had not seen ever before, peaking her curiosity. She reluctantly followed behind the woman instead of breaking away and exploring the greenhouse herself. She stayed by the counter as the woman went to the back and searched through the various cabinets, an odd soft glow of blues and greens seen from even her distance.
“People call me Eve,” she replied, leaning on the countertop and eyeing the various jars of honey on the shelves. She remembered Tea had said something about tea calming his nerves after having nightmares, but honey stopping them altogether was an entirely new concept. She leaned back a bit when the chosen honey was placed in front of her. Its radiant blue glow shone, proving it was at the very least supernatural. “So this is the magic honey?”

The name meant more to her than she let on, but nonetheless nodded along to Apis’ comment. She looked at the woman and her bees and back at the honey; magic would probably be the main way to describe why it glowed and had its special effects.
She began to reach out to take the honey and leave, until she stopped cold at the woman’s warning. “Just a spoonful, got it,” she reiterated for the woman, though Eve wasn’t particularly sure how her nightmares could get worse. After all, the only reason she came was because she had nothing to lose. She caught the jar Apis slid over and continued to listen to her instructions, her skepticism harder to control as she listened. “I don’t really want to change anything unless it actually works.” At the very least, she was definately going to test it out that night. She pulled the spoon from the twine and inspected it, her eyebrow rising at its size. “Is this really enough? you probably you what you’re doing, it’s just that...” Eve held up the spoon and pointed to it. “This isn’t really a lot.”

“An entire jar of this stuff?” Eve questioned, cocking her head in confusion. She looked back down at the jar and lifted it off the counter and shook it, watching the honey swish back and forth with the same viscosity as any other honey she’s seen. She had a problem with sweets, but an entire jar was still a bit much. However, she had to note the fact that it probably didn’t taste at all like actual honey. “How do you down a whole jar of this stuff? Even if it does taste good, this looks like a lot.”
After saying it aloud, it sounded hypocritical. She’s taken almost every trick in the book for curing her nightmares, so if this worked… Well, that would be a godsend.
The fallen angel clutched the jar close to her chest as she followed the woman back to the door. “Nah, this should be good… Well, could I take this with sugar water or something like that?” Normally she had hot chocolate, but taking honey with that sounded nasty, and she was not in the mood for trying something like that.
