Aren had returned back to the living room, or well, not before accidentally hopping out in the armory and the clothing workshop. He finally entered the living room with a vaguely triumphant expression on his face and he set the stack of teas he had taken with him down on the table. "My excuses." he said, turning towards Amaya. "I thought I should get some more Tea." he moved himself over to the couch, sitting himself down, giving Tea a somewhat confused sideways glance. "Did something happen?"

Tea felt better after the explanation, and after Aren's return. Addressing Amaya first, he said, "I would understand if you still held me accountable for my actions." Then he answered Aren honestly, "Just chatting, making sure you're alright with me." He gave Aren a reassuring smile. It was good that the young cultist had someone there for him. He smiled wider, thinking of all the people who had helped him since waking up.

Pulling the cup away from her head Amaya focused on Tea. "Not for a second," She murmured, "do I blame you for what the puppeteers did to all of us. I may be far away from tila here but I still hear enough to know everyone was hurt in some way by the puppeteers, even you chandeliers. You're welcome here any time Tea, no matter how small you may think the issue is." With that she turned and smiled at Aren, "Don't worry about a thing, we were just talking and I'm sure the things you picked out are great."

"Mhm." Aren mumbled. He wasn't quite sure what to think of the situation, worry still stirring in his gut. "Well. If you say so." he said, shifting around awkwardly, thinking of something to say. He clasped his hands together as he finally made a decision. "So, you said berry picking Amaya? That seems like a great idea if we're all on board with it." he may have phrased this a lot more awkwardly than he meant to.

Tea grew still and smiled at the selected teas Aren had brought. Sipping from his cup, he turned his head from Amaya. Features darkening, he tried to accept her statement as being true. Still he wondered if she knew the extent of his involvement. Looking to change the subject, he asked, "Did I already ask you how the two of you met?" He'd feel embarrassed if he did. "If so, I'm sorry for repeating myself."

Amaya laughed at the memory, trying to cover the rather inelegant noise with a cough. "Some how I don't doubt it's too different to how you two met, Aren found some things belonging to me and decided to return them, the next day he fell out of a wall beside me, panicked, and we ended up talking fashion, it wasn't a boring first impression to say the least."

Aren hummed in agreement at the statement. "That tends to happen yes. That's usually how people tend to run into me." He let out a somewhat awkward laugh, fumbling around with the tip of his hood. He looked over what was left of the sweets, rifling through them and picking out some muffin debris while choosing Tea with his other hand.

"I wish I had been so calm. I screamed and caused him to burn himself." Aren had tried so hard to calm him down. "I still feel terrible about that." But the rest of the meeting had gone well, he thought while staring fondly at Aren as he moved.

"I'd say I was impressed you've managed to scare every level of cultist," Amaya began with a small smile "but you really need to stop jumping out of walls at people dear."

Aren shrugged, not denying the statement. "Well, it is what I do. It's rather hard sometimes to assess what exit leads where after all." He held up his hand, staring at it as he reminisced. "It wasn't your fault that I burned myself Tea, I panicked and dropped hot water everywhere so I wasn't very careful myself." He moved his hand to slightly nudge Tea, hoping it was somewhat comforting.

Tea nudged back and smiled, feeling a little more comfortable now. "Still, you panicked because I panicked." He thought for a moment, then snorted. "Jumping out of walls isn't so bad. Wait till you see me on Darjeeling." Walls were not a thing to him when he was high enough. They were just things he could crash through.

"What on earth is Darjeeling and how concerned would I be?" She asked, completely unable to help either her massive grin or the way her eyebrows made an attempt to escape her face.

Aren snorted at the thought of Tea on Darjeeling, almost choking on his muffin as he did and somewhere thankful it just dissipated. "Tea, you go through walls on Darjeeling, that's not the same." he laughed, somewhat hoarsely. "But I do have to say, we both make a mess of the surroundings, that's a common point. It's rather silly really." He said while turning to Amaya. "Don't worry about it."

"Just a tea," Tea answered her. A tea that has continuously gotten him into terrible situations. He said that, but more often than not he wound up having fun in said situations. He grinned at Aren. He was right. "Walls become meaningless social constructs when I drink it."

Not bothering to hide her laugh this time at the image of tea simply bursting through her walls in greeting Amaya continued, this was simply to silly a topic to let go so easily, "I have very suddenly become deathly curious about this tea, is this a normal reaction to it? Is it hallucinogenic?"
