{WARNING: there may be blood and maybe fighting.}
That was what Morphodoe "heard" from one of her butterflies, which had its wing torn. She didn't really worry about the newcomers, since she could easily avoid them without much of a sweat, but after healing the wing another butterfly came-- this one with its wing ripped. That unnerved her since the butterflies were quick and could avoid traps, but she quickly brushed it off since an accident like that happened every once in a long while.
The next day, she woke up to find a lot of her summons around her room injured and energy floating around. They gave off fear and anger. What made her panic was the fact that they were close to poofing away. While she was healing all of them, she "listened" to their stories and pieced together that the Hunters were responsible. "Maybe I should investigate."
That afternoon, she went into the forest with her wings and ears hidden. She wandered around the forest for a while, but found nothing. Uther, one of her rabbits, suggested investigating at night since a lot of its kind and the butterflies had been injured during that time.
It. . . wasn't a good idea.
Morphodoe was wandering the forest when she accidentally set off a trap. A spider web. "Ah jeez." She murmured as she struggled to get out. Luckily, she was in the same clothing as the afternoon, so she didn't have to worry about getting her wings twisted or into trouble with a possible hunter. But what bothered her was the click that came from above. If she wasn't mistaken, it sounded like a gun.
SNAP
Morphodoe stopped moving and looked around, "Hello?" When Morphodoe set off the trap, the moon disappeared behind some clouds. It was quite on cue, unfortunately. She hoped that it was someone friendly.

The sudden noise of w gun loading startled him. He found himself being shot at as he fled into the trees and made sure to get away as fast as humanly--er, inhumanly, possible. Enfer didn't stop for anything as he jumped from branch to branch in the trees, the flame of n his tail dim so he wouldn't be spotted.
He eventually came to a stop as he climbed into a knot hole in a tree he was perched on as sighed in relief. He had been grazed by one of the bullets on his shoulder, but it didn't hurt as bad as it seemed. He removed his coat and began treating the wound on his shoulder, mainly licking it until it stopped bleed as he put his jacket back on when it finally stopped bleeding.
He was just about to get some rest when his ears twitched. He could hear someone's voice. He really hoped it wasn't one of those men with guns again.
He followed the sound of the voice and spotted a familiar face. "Morph! Are you okay?" Enfer called, jumping down from the branch he was on to help the girl out of the trap.

Bonebon was mad. She was sitting at the edge of the forest again, watching the people in the city from afar. She was contented watching them, when suddenly something shot her shoulder. Before she could react her other shoulder was shot too. She quickly hid and took off her hat. She also concentrated on making her portal bigger momentarily. A new creature emerged from the portal, a half deer horse thing. It was also on fire. She'd named it Dorse for a lack of a better name. She rode it and fled into the forest. As the surroundings blurred around her she also noticed two familiar faces. She decided to stop there. She rolled off her steed and into the grass.
"Hey.." She said, still lying down and bleeding.

"Hey Bone, you got shot as well," Enfer stated. He noticed the two wounds on Bones shoulder. He had finally cut Morph free from the trap she was in.

She groaned and sat up, wincing from the pain from her shoulders. "I see they got you too." she reached for the ribbon on her hat but the slightest movement made her shoulder throb in pain. She grimaced. "I know you're kinda wounded too but do you mind helping?" she did a small gesture to both her wounded shoulders. Meanwhile the deer horse grazed the grass nearby. "That's Dorse by the way. She's a deer horse." Dorse neighed at the sound of her name.

"Sure thing," Enfer said as he approached her. "This may hurt a little so..." Enfer said as he dug his claws into the bullet wound and pulled out the bullet. He apologized when he saw her face turn into one of pain and went to the other wound and pulled out another bullet.
Enfer held both bloody bullets in his hand as he went to treat her wounds and wrapped them up, not before cleaning them so they would stop bleeding. He smiled at his work and then looked to Dorse. "I see you mixed the names Deer and Horse, anyways, interesting creature," the hybrid said. Enfer pet its muzzle.

Morphodoe grunted when she fell to the floor, "Thanks Enfer." She said. She winced when Enfer pulled the bullets out from Bone. "By the way, did you see who shot you two?" She asked, "Novella told me there were new Hunters in town, but she didn't give a description."

"You're welcome," Enfer said with a smile. "I didn't see the hunter too well, all I saw that he was wearing camouflage," Enfer explained. He tried to remember what he looked like, but he was too scared when he was running to get a good look.

"We should probably head back to the mansion. I don't think walking is a good idea." Morphodoe took off her coat and unfolded her wings, "You think we should fly?"

"I suggest traveling through trees, they won't spot us in he air, and they can't chase us on the ground," Enfer said. He used his claws to climb back into a tree.

Morphodoe zoomed into a tree and quickly hid her wings. "Are you sure they went this way?" Asked one voice. Oh no. The moon appeared from behind the clouds and revealed the Hunters. There were 6 in total, all armed and one with a book. "Yeah, look. The spider web was triggered." Another said, the owner walking to the trap that Enfer released Morphodoe from. "Wait." One of the Hunters bent down to examine something on the ground, "Tracks. Looks to be recent."
The other Hunters held up their weapons and looked around. "Split up, they can't be too far." Said the person with a book. The group went into pairs and walked away from the trees their prey were hiding in. This was going to be tricky if the cultists weren't careful.

Enfer stared down at the hunters, his flame cutting out completely as he put a finger to his lips to tell them to be silent. This would be very dangerous if they weren't careful. "Come on you guys, we'll have to move very carefully and quietly to get away from theses hunters, and make sure not to lead them to the cult," Enfer stated.
The hybrid stuck to all fours as he jumped to another branch, being careful to move to ones that didn't look too fragil. Luckily, his claws helped him get traction on the wood as he made his way to another branch.
"Hey! Go check overs there! I think I saw some movement!" A hunter shouted as they looked in a bush and a bunch of rabbit hopped out of their nest and fled for their lives.

Morphodoe glared at the hunter who disturbed the rabbit and their nest. She continued to do it for another minute before hopping to another tree. She continued to jump until the hunter with a book walked under the tree she was in. "Fudge!" She thought angrily. The hunter stood still and looked up into the trees, obviously searching for something. "Dear god don't." Morphodoe thought.

Enfer looked back in fear and broke a branch with his tail to distract the hunter as he pushed Morph forward. "Let's go, hurry," Enfer said in a frantic tone. He stared down at the hunter as the one with a book still remained in his spot, feeling a little more suspicious rather than the others.
Enfer gulped when he called the others over and one of the men began aiming their gun into the trees and pulled the trigger. Enfer almost screamed as a bullet came flying past him, but missed by just an inch.

Morphodoe could feel her hair and ears spike up from underneath her hood, but she kept going and was glad her extra parts were hidden. She saw the mansion up ahead and hissed, "How do we get in without bringing attention?"
