Kuiper wandered around the lake for a while. He had never seen a lake reflect the stars so clearly. After finding the perfect spot he materialized a desk and dropped his scrolls down. Star mapping was one of his favorite things to do, and with the sky clear today he couldn't resist making another map. After a while he became so engrossed with the stars he didn't notice anything but.

Stretching up and giving a satisfied hum Amaya looked over the set of tiny suits in front of her and smiled, she'd been commissioned to make a set of childrens suits for a weeding and they were so cute! Even if it had taken well into the night to finish them all. Glancing out the window the sight of a flame -a rather large one at that- not to far from her house had her pausing, was that person sitting at a desk? Confused she decided to go investigate. It took barley a few moments to get to the other, clearing her throat she stepped forward "Are you quite alright?"

Shocked by the sudden arrival of the other Kuiper almost fell out of his chair. Getting up and signing "sorry" over and over he took a second to gather his thoughts and noticed the house by the lake. He didn't know enough sign language to say what he wanted to, so he grabbed a spare scroll and wrote down a letter and passed it to the other. "Sorry didn't see the house. I'm alright just drawing the stars. Would you like me to move?"

Startling forward at the other falling Amaya relaxed backwards when the other stood up alright, she had no idea what it was he was signing unfortunately. "Drawing the stars?" Ears swivelling forwards and up in interest she snapped her head up "you're an astrologer? That's amazing! Oh uh you're fine to remain where you if you wish." holding out both her hand and the letter she continued "I'm Amaya by the way."

Kuiper quickly shook her hand and then grabbed the letter to write on it again. He hastily scribbled "I'm Kuiper. You could kind of call me an astrologer. I just create star maps and use them for when I try to commune with the stars. I'm almost done with this one, if you would like help with something I could help. This is your property after all." Handing the let back Kuiper started to put away all his unneeded supplies while she read it.

"Oh don't worry about it at all, this is all actually cult territory anyway, I'm ah, not entirely sure if my house is actually supposed to be there." coughing lightly into her hand in embarrassment she continued "Still, I think perhaps I have a way to assist us both, do you see the dome on top of my home? It's actually got quite a bit of tech in it for astrology, cameras and telescopes and the like but recently one of them broke and I've no idea how to fix it, would you know at all?"

Kuiper's eyes opened up at hearing that. He grabbed the paper and started writing enthusiastically. "Oh I have a bunch of things to fix them. I originally brought them so I could try and build some but I got distracted. Show me the way I'll happily help"

Amaya smiled brightly at the other, their enthusiasm for the stars and to help immediately endearing them to her. Grin still in place she turned and headed for her house, they arrived in quick time and headed up through the house. The room was filled with equipment, five very large telescopes, one in the middle of the room and the others facing the cardinal directions, nada cameras, the crystal clear glass making it as if they were still outside if not for the bars holding it up. "It's this one over here, I've honestly no idea what's wrong with it." She said, gesturing to the eastern most telescope.

Kuiper reached into his pockets and pulled out a few tools. After opening the body of the telescope and inspecting all the lenses he pulled a rag to clean them off. He then started to remove a few screws from the top and took out the lens to inspect it. Getting out a new scroll he quickly scribbled what he thought was wrong. "It seems one of the lenses is slightly cracked and a layer of dirt is over the inside eyepiece. I cleaned off the eyepiece but I don't have a spare lens to replace the cracked one."

"Ah thank you, a cracked lens is easy enough fixed." exchanging the scroll for the damaged part Amaya ran her hands over it and quickly found the damage now that I had been narrowed down. The crack was small, very small, barely than a hair but with such delicate equipment it was more than enough, focusing she pushed the damaged molecules back together, kg boring the warning twinge in her head. Holding it up she watched the light reflect perfectly through the lens and smiled. "All fixed, thank you for this, I've not got the time to go through all the manuals anymore trying to figure out what has gone wrong and I'm afraid alot of this equipment has become neglected."

Kuiper started fiddling around with the other telescopes and quickly scribbling down drawings and notes before replying. "You really should use these more. Your setup here is amazing. As for them being neglected, all it would take to keep them going would be to clean them often and keep the stands stable. as long as no dust gets into the body of the scope, it should be fine for the most part. Is there anything else you would need?"

"Thanks, it took me a while to collect so much equipment, I never intended to let it all go to waist like this but with so many orders recently I suppose its been inevitable." Amaya tilted her head and considered the other, 'it would be fairly feasible to..' "Say, For as long as you want to use it I'll let you, in return you can ensure it all stays in good condition, would this be agreeable for you?"

Writing on what little paper he had left he responded. "Thank you, but I have telescopes stored away somewhere. I can still come by to clean them every once in a while. The sun seems to be coming up soon, but I should be around for a little bit longer if you like help with some of those orders you were talking about."

Nodding her acceptance, Amaya handed the scroll back and smiled. "That would be greatly appreciated, the sewing room is back down through the house on the east side." glancing around she spotted a note book she'd left aside and handed it over so the other could keep writing.
