((in town, eventide))
"What about this one?" Amaya asked, holding up a purple a-line skirt she'd found on the sales rack.
Bonebon and herself had headed into town for something of a girls day out, so far they'd already hit a few shops and were heading for lunch in a local café soon.
They had of course come in slightly more ordinary forms, with her antenna hidden beneath her hat a long skirt and top and no cloak she looked perfectly human. |

Bone had skirts and dresses draped over her arm and a pair of boots in one hand. The garments had pastel colors and designs, and they were all on sale. She looked at the skirt Amaya was holding up and gave her a thumbs up. "It looks great! I think you should get it. WHat's the price?"
Bone was dressed in her regular outfit, but the hat was pushed up so it revealed her eye. It wasn't on her hat but it was on her face now, and she wore glasses with one of the lens blacked out. She didn't do the fire hair today, it was too eye-catching. So she looked like she was bald under that hat.

"A fiver, definitely worth it." Hefting up the basket and bags she'd already accumulated Amaya groaned and continued in a quieter voice "How do you guys manage having your hands full whenever you need to carry things? I cant believe I used to do this everyday it's terribly inconvenient." At the same time she was saying this she swung her head around looking for the till and caught the eye of another shopper, a man with dark hair who was looking right at them, his gaze frigid.
A sudden sense of foreboding flooded down Amaya's spine, Hadn't he been in the last few stores? That woman over there as well...
Snapping her gaze away from his and paling she lent down, pretending to inspect another garment she hissed out "Bone, do those two look familiar to you?"

She took some of amayas bags and looked at the people she was pertaining too. "Hmm....not really. Why do you know them?" she didn't notice the way they were staring at them either. Well she did but she didn't care or thought they were looking at the clothes they had. "Maybe they want us to move out of the way so they can see the clothes better." as she said that she stepped a bit to thw side, not a care in the world.

"I think we should pay and move on, they've been in the last few stores as well, there is something wrong here." Shifting the bags in her arms as she stood Amaya made her way to the counter, pressing down any nervous twitches, letting the people following them know they'd been noticed would be a very bad idea.

She pouted, "Aw but I wanna shop more." She didn't notice the looming danger but she did notice her friend acting aprehensive. "Can we still shop at other stores?" she placed her items on the counter and readied her wallet. Meanwhile one of the people following them lined up behind her.

"We can go to other shops, lets just try and loose these guys first." she whispered back, shuffling her own items onto the counter after Bones had been run through, keeping an eye permanently on the man behind them, she noticed an odd bulge in his clothing near the hip, a type of bulge she's very familiar with as a weapon specialist.
He's got a gun. She realised, face draining of colour, We need to be out of here now.
Numbly handing over her money and thanking the worker she rushed Bone from the store and down twisting paths, desperately hoping to lose their tag along. |

She was startled when Amaya dragged her out of the store and deeper into the mall. She didn't know what part they were in anymore. She struggled to keep up with all the bags she was holding. Plus she didn't want to get tired. "Amaya! Slow down! Please!" she said inbetween pants. She stopped and sat down on the floor."This was supposed to be fun shopping time! Not marathon running!"

Glancing back once Bone pulled away from her hand Amaya felt guilt shoot through her stomach, she hadn't meant to pull her so hard.
"Sorry, I hadn't meant to make the day into such a panic." sighing she glanced around and spotted a drinks stand, quickly buying two she handed one over and sat to drink her own.

She gulped the drink down. Immediately it was empty save for some ice. She decided to eat those too, crunching them like hard candy. "It's fine. Just warn me before you run ok?" She got up and threw her drink away. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a man dressed in all black with a cross pin. She narrowed her eyes at him.
'Is that a priest? I hate priests.' she thought
"Hey, lets keep going. Maybe we can find a small eatery outside. And you can tell me what's bothering you along the waym" she told her friend.

Amaya sipped her drink at a much more reasonable pace, resisting the urge to raise her eyebrow at Bone doing her best to mimic the portal on top of her head in reverse "I think I saw a café outside the mall, we can go there."
Standing and gathering up her bags she continued after making sure there was no one paying attention to them in earshot, though she spotted the priest like man, he was to far away from them to hear.
"The man who was following us had a gun at his hip, I don't care if these people are monster hunters or just regular human criminals, he was most certainly focusing on us."

She put her hands to her face and made an "oh!" expression. She looked around her to see if the man who was following them was still there. She pouted, "Mmm...maybe we can just go the other side of the city? I really want to spend more time with you." She crossed her arms and stomped her feet, like a baby throwing a tantrum. "Stupid nosy people. Always ruining my day. Always ruining my life." They passed by a shake stall, so she stopped to buy more drinks. She took a sip of her Mango shake. "Do you want some?"

"No thanks," she replied, spying a listing of blueberry and apple on the flavours list and paying for one.
Taking her order she continued "the other side of town might be a good idea, and this is really fun, we should do it more often. Still we should try to loose these bozos down a few alley's, I doubt they'll be able to follow us with a humans speed."
Stepping out the front doors of the mall just as she finished her sentence Amaya raised her hand over her eyes and squinted, she was fairly sure that was a cinema over in the distance?
"Feeling up for a movie?" she asked.

She smiled when they reached an agreement. She thought about Amaya's offer. "Hmm...if it's full of romance I don't wanna. But if there's a horror movie...." She didn't want for answer as she held Amaya's hand and led her to the cinema. Occasionally some would stare at them, but she payed no mind. When they reached the cinema she looked at the schedule and was disappointed to see no horror movie. "Aw..no horror. Hmm, this looks like a good action move though."

"We can always come back when they release one or just marathon them one night, the action movie does look good for now though." Turning to the cashier she quickly grabbed the two tickets, some snacks and made to hand her stubs to the doorman.
"Theatres full you'll have to go to the next one down." he snapped, gesturing down another corridor branching from the main area.
Bristling Amaya snapped back "No need to be rude about it!"
