The hybrid was wandering, a recent thought buzzing through his head--no, not thoughts...voices. Angry voices. They spoke of the crime he committed long ago, the crime he didn't know he even did since he was so young. So naive. So hungry.
Enfer rubbed his temples, groaning, trying to get the voices to stop. They kept yelling at him, calling him a demon, a horrible creature for what he did.
"I...I'm so sorry...I didn't mean to do it..."
Enfer muttered an apology under his breath, his eyes shut tightly as he kept his head to the ground, not realizing where he was going as he bumped into someone.
The impact was just enough to snap him out of his thoughts as he looked up at the other cult member and smiled when he saw it was a familiar face.

Concern creased Amaya's brow when she heard Enfers muttering, the feeling only growing stronger when he didn't even notice her and ran straight into her.
"Enfer, are you alright? You look pale."

"I...I'm fine...no need to worry," Enfer said with a nervous laugh. On the inside, Enfer was far from fine, those tormented voices screamed curses at his over and over in his head, drowning out the sound of Amaya's own voice. He could still hear her, but he voice was muffled behind all the others, while his vision was a little fuzzy.

Considering the difficulty the hybrid was having focusing on her, Amaya severely doubted that he was okay.
Bending down slightly so he didn't have to crane his neck up she raised three fingers and held them out in front of her,
"Enfer how many fingers am I holding up?"

Echo stood in the shadows, watching the two talk. She pushed her own mind into Enfer's reading through his thoughts. Her eyes narrowed in concern and confusion. She wanted to know more, but she knew soon enough she would be pushed out of the hybrid's mind

Enfer looked at Amaya's fingers, trying to see them as he took a guess and said,"u-uh...three, yeah...it's three," Enfer said with a crooked smile. His eyes widened when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He quickly looked to his left and saw a horrifying image, a member of his clan, their bodies managled and broken as black liquid poured from every orifice.
"No...I-i told you I'm sorry so many times..." Enfer muttered, shutting his eyes. He didn't want to see it. He wanted it to go away, but those voices just continued.

Echo grabbed at her own head, the pain filtering in. She gave a low hiss, the images burning into her brain. The girl doubled over slightly, the pain now traveling all through her body

Catching a flicker of blue out of the corner of her eye Amaya turned to tell them to get a healer when she spotted Echo, the girl clearly in pain, tail flicking side to side she started to tug on Enfers hand to try and get him to move so she could help them both.
"Enfer there's no one there, what ever you're seeing isn't real."

Enfer was breathing heavily, a hand on his head. He began to dig his claws into his head as he muttered. "I didn't mean to do any of it...it wasn't my fault. I was just a child y'know...but they kicked us out, all for a small little thing..." Enfer rambled quickly. He was speaking so quickly that his words almost sounded like a jumbled mess, but luckily it could still be made out.
"I want the voices to stop...please...I just want them to stop. They say it's my fault, everything is my fault...that the blood that stained me will never go away..." Enfer trembled as he shut his eyes again, shaking his head as he mumbled to himself

Echo watched Amaya head towards her. She stuck her hand out, another hiss coming out. "I'm...fine."

Noting Echos assurance Amaya slowed her progress towards her, she had no idea what Enfer was seeing but it wa clearly bad.
Drumming her fingers along the dragons shoulder to try and bring him out of it, calling over her shoulder to echo as she did so
"Do you have any idea what this is Echo?"

Enfer could feel her fingers tapping on his shoulder and looked at her, his eyes wide with terror as he pushed her away, backing into a wall as he trembled, shouting,"don't touch me! Yo-You horrible creatures! I've apologized so many times...why won't you leave me alone!" Enfer was in a total state of panic as he tried to calm his breathing and his frantic heartbeat

Without knowing what had triggered the episode or what he was seeing Amaya had little frame of reference on how to react, tail picking up the pace on it's agitated swishing she called very her shoulder again
"Echo, what's causing you both these issues?" At the lack of response Amaya risked a glance behind her only to find the girl fully bent over.
Hitting back the urge to curse she swivelled back around to Enfer and pitched her voice low and soothing.
"Enfer, you need to calm down, what you are seeing is not real." |

Enfer relaxed a little to look at Amaya and smiled,"it..it's nothing that concerns you two...just a bad memory...just a bad memory that should be erased forever," Enfer said. His tail flicked from side to side, it's movement not smooth how it was supposed to be as it jerked and twitched like it was having a spaz attack. His flame flickering between fully bright and dim.

"Alright, just keep focusing on me okay? Memories can't attack you here, you're safe." with every motion as non aggressive as she could make it Amaya moved her way over to Enfers side.
"Enfer, can you tell me what you were seeing? What is it that set you off?"
