Enfer was trying to steady his shaky breathing as he said,"th-their corpses...all the bloody bodies of my clan mates...each one a different age, looking at me with those hallow eyes...I...I killed them...I ate each one..." Enfer said, his tone gradually growing more psychotic as his iris dilated and his pupils turned to narrow slits

Horror at the proclamation had Amaya taking a step backwards, the changing state in Enfers eyes had her taking another.
Vaguely she wondered where Dante was at this moment and hoped for his sake he was doing something important.
"Y-you did what." she hissed, ears pinning back angrily.

Enfer tensed at what he just said and gained a fearful look in his eyes as he dropped to all fours and ran off. He didn't want to talk, he was scared. He couldn't believe he allowed himself to become so careless and blurt out such a thing. Tears were selling up in the corners of his eyes as he ran outside and into the forest, searching disparately for the cave he called home.

Guilt immediately swamped Amaya at the sight of Enfer running off in distress, what he'd confessed had obviously been a bad memory, surely he had a reason for what he did?
Unfortunately the few moments she'd taken to be shocked had allowed Enfer to flee deeper into the catacombs and she had little hope of tracking him.
Turning back to Echo with a sigh Amaya knelt to reach the girls eye level.
"How are you feeling?"

Enfer panted heavily as he sped through the forest, his eyes wide as he saw his home up ahead. He instantly ran inside and made sure to go into the further regions in the cavern. He entered one of the narrow tunnels, going as deep as possible into the the tunnel and curling up inside.

Echo sighed with relief and collapsed, the pain subsiding. "Fine now. Those...images....they were horrific. But I wouldn't be too mad at him." She hung her head tiredly. "Let's go get him. And find out why he's mind guard isn't on guard."

Morphodoe was in the forest with a bag of carrots when a blur ran past her. She yelped and dropped the bag as her hair spiked up. After blinking a few times, she looked at the direction of the blur and sniffed the air-- it was Enfer. "I wonder what happened." Morphodoe thought as she picked up the bag. Some of the carrots in her bag had spilled, but at least the animals had something to eat.

Emerging up and out into the sunlit forests it wasn't long before they came across Morphodoe, hair puffed out like a startled cat.
"I take it that you just saw Enfer?" Amaya asked.

Echo followed along slowly, sending out mental hands to see if she could sense him. Soon the came across Morph and she leaned against a tree. "Do you have any water?"

"Wha-" Morphodoe turned to the voice and calmed down, "Oh, uh yeah." She noticed her hair and quickly combed it down with her hands, the bag resting on her shoulder. "Um, sorry Echo, but I don't have any water." Morphodoe said, "I think there's a stream around here though. But is there something wrong with Enfer?"

"Something is causing him to have flashbacks, we're not entirely sure why he's having them, but they are bad."
Even now Amaya couldn't help the twitching of her tail, the implication that Enfer had killed and eaten children was bothering her greatly, the idea that he'd eaten anyone was bothering her.

Echo left to find water and came back a few minutes later. "Well I feel better. I only saw images in his head, along with a few whispers. Which won't stop playing in my head. I'm guessing I'll hear those voices for a while now." Echo rubbed her head

"Can either of you track him? I can imagine the situation will only escalate if he is left alone, if you need a moment we can take one Echo."
