((The forest, by amayas home))
Winter had finally decided to deposit its promised snow, the fluffy white load had transferred from the clouds to the ground and left the sky clear and bright, the moon and stars causing the snow to sparkle softly. Having decided to take a walk around the lake and appreciate the scenery Amaya was dressed in much thicker clothes than normal, her normal cloak switched out for a tan and white fur lined number instead. It was as she neared the opposite side of the lake from her home she spied another figure out and about, calling out a greeting she made her way to the other.

Gabriel had stepped into a portal because he had needed some fresh air after he had been stuck in his room for more than one day, working through the paperwork that had started to grow on his desk, because Gabriel had spent a lot of time with Lola recently. Now he was finished and even though he was not hungry yet, he decided to go into one of the woods he had not had explored yet.
The man didn't wear any sort of specific winter clothing since his skin was cold anyway and because he would not get sick, with being dressed like he did usually. His steps crunching the snow underneath his shoes he made his way through this winter-wonder-world until he heard a voice. Turning around Gabriel spotted a centaur which stepped right towards him. "Good evening to you too." He greeted back. "What a beautiful night we have."

"Mm," she hummed in agreement "it is gorgeous, I've always loved snow and I simply had to come out and enjoy it with the woods looking so lovely, what brings you all the way out here if you don't mind my asking?"

He had spotted her flames on her ears, relaxing directly, knowing that she was a member of the same institution. "I haven't been here before and I thought I might take a look around, while I enjoy the fullmoon and the fresh and cold winter air."

Seeing that the other had relaxed Amaya looked out over the lake past her home, she could just barely see the mountains by their silhouettes. "It is startlingly clear, I never expected to find anywhere this pollution free, even the country side in Ireland wasn't so clear of smog." Turning her attention back to the other cultist she held out a hand, "I'm Amaya by the way, pleasure to meet you."

Gabriel smiled slightly. "Yes it is very beautiful here. Ireland mh? I grew up in Londons foggy chimney-sea, for me everything is a lot more smog free, you see." The vampire joked before he took her hand and placed a near-kiss on it, not quite touching her. Afterwards he let her hand go again. "A pleasure to meet you too. I am Gabriel."

A heart laugh emerged from Amayas throat at the gesture, "Well aren't you a charmer?" she joked as she put her hand down to her side, "London though? Its nice to see someone else from across the water here, though I do love the others of course."

"I agree it is indeed nice to see someone from the isles. You see as much as I like them, their knowledge of tea is most of the time rather horrid. "It was obviously onky meant to be taken half seriously. "I saw what the humans sold as tea here. Seems they have not touched any real one since they threw them into the harbour."

"They must have scooped the water back out and assumed that's what its supposed to taste like." grinning she continued, "invading their taste buds with quality drinks will simply have to be an eternal mission."

Gabriel chuckled at Amayas remark and nodded. "I fully agree with you and I would love to continue this talk but I think it is rather cold here for someone who is not already undead." He looked at her. "You don't know a place we could rather stay than here in this snowpile?" His shoes slowly began to soak themself too and even though the vampire did not much care for the cold, wet shoes were not his favourite either.

"oh! Of course my apologies it seems my manners escaped me," turning slightly she gestured for him to follow, "my home is just around the lake we can warm up in the living room." Setting off they arrived at her home quickly, the house warm and cosy, hanging her cloak up by the door she lead the way deeper into the home until they reached the living room and its strange assortment of furniture sizes. "Take a seat anywhere you like and I'll get the kettle on."

Gabriel shook his head. "No problem dear, I don't even feel the cold that much, I'm rather thinking that it might grow uncomfortable for you." He followed her to the small house around the lake, cleaning his shoes from the snow outside before stepping in. He did not have a jacket or a coat to hang by the door so he simply stepped over to the living room. He was not quite sure yet, where to sit so he simply stayed standing for the moment. "Tea sounds wonderful, thank you. You live quite a far from the cult."

It only took a few moments for Amaya to set the tea and put it on the coffee table, A small laugh bubbled from her mouth as she poured the drinks, "Well aren't you just a charmer, but really that's very sweet thank you." Gesturing to another seat and taking her own Amaya continued, "I suppose I do live rather far don't I? Still I like it out here, I had a portal installed some time ago so sometimes I forget exactly how far away the manor really is."

Gabriel appreciate that she showed him where he could sit down and after he did, he took the cup that was offered to him. "It is quite beautiful and quiet out here. The only reason I stay directly in the manor is, that there is no safer way to avoid sunlight than the catacombs underneath. I still have my flat in London but I rarely am there, just to pick up things or when I am needed in my company." he hummed slightly. "But at the moment I prefer the manor and the new shop I have in the Town there. It is quiet and not that rushing, quite a nice difference."

Amaya hummed in agreement and stirred a cube of sugar into her tea, "That makes sense, you're welcome to visit any time you wish, as you say the manor can be... hectic." Lips twitching she took a sip of her drink to help fight off the silly grin that tried to push itself onto her face at some of the more ridiculous things she'd seen, done or heard of occurring in the manor, successfully shoving the reaction down she continued. "London though, yes I've been there a few times, though I do prefer the trade shows in Paris and Milan, London has my favourite displays, having a shop in town, you're a fellow trader then?"
