Seth relaxed as he walked down a pathless ground surrounded by tall trees that shone from the frost stuck to their branches. It was cold. Not that seth was surprised. It was January after all; just a month past December. The young man probably should have brought warmer clothes, or at least brought a warm drink. But his mind was too engulfed by his sign language studies to even think about the weather. Even now he was playing with his hands, trying to remember which gestures meant what. Maybe he should have brought his notes with him...
Gabriel had just returned from visiting Serena's lake and was rather in deep thoughts himself when he nearly accidentally stepped in another persons way. "Pardon me." he said and took a few steps back, looking more closely who wandered through the woods. he could smell that the other person was in fact not human, at least not completely, the candles on the back where also a kind of dead give-away. He seemed to be a cultist. "Oh, I have not met you yet." Gabriel said, smiling at the other.
Seth jumped a little, not having expected the sudden appearance of the other, but stayed calm nonetheless. He stepped back a bit after the man had moved, putting even more space between them. He looked to the other, standing tall despite the intimidated feeling coursing through him. "No," Seth agreed, "I don't think I have met you either..."
Now that he looked a bit closer, he found that his figure seemed similar... Seth had probably seen him around somewhere, however, they never spoke. "You're... you're from the Candle Cult too, right?" He asked, slightly unsure of himself.
The vampire saw the posture of the other and acknowledged how carefully he seemed to move. the other cultist was taller than him but he didn't seem to have any specific posture, except a slightly defensive one, maybe even unsure. With this no danger seemed to come from the other cultist and Gabriel went into a rather relaxed posture.
"Yes I am indeed, we probably have seen each other somewhere, your face rings a bell vaguely in my head. I'm Gabriel Rowe, Vampire, Gentleman and Merchant, nice to meet you. May I ask for your name?" He smile still remained on Gabriel's face, giving off a friendly and not at all intimidating vibe.
Seth relaxed a bit, blinking. He was still unsure if he could trust the other- or how he should act around him for that matter. It didn't seem like he wanted to hurt seth. Gabriel was a vampire though, so Seth was still very careful about what move he'd make.
"Seth..." he replied, an almost paranoid look on his face. Or maybe it was just hesitant. The young man stared at the other, as if he were searching for bad intentions in his eyes. He didn't find any, but instead, he found that Gabriel's eyes were gentle, and welcoming. He then looked away, sighing as he did so. "So, what are you doing out here?" He asked looking back down at the other.
Seth was kind of glad he wore his boots outside. He seemed a lot taller than he actually was with them on... Even if he'd still be taller than the other without them on.
