Alright guys.
So. New Year- New Cult. And with that comes a change in our admining. We're a big enough group now that it's time we started kicking our butts into gear and functioning in a more optimal manner. As such, the current Chandeliers and I discussed this over (and it was even suggested to us by the World Builder's group as well), we're fixing how admins are picked and getting new ones. Here's what's been proposed and agreed upon:
--We currently have two kinds of "admining". The old one, based on post count, and the new TIL one. This one uses a three tier system.
-Tenebra are the original members. (the first 20 who started the Cult)
-Intera would be members appointed by admins to act like what Votives currently are supposed to- they'll monitor things on forum.
-Lumina are basic cult members.
--It was agreed that an age limit of 17 be put on forum admins and that one must apply for admin sanctioned positions (such as monitoring threads).
--Ranking wise, that means all members save for Current Candelabra/Chandeliers who choose to stay, and people with special titles like World Builders or Artists will be demoted or asked to reapply for administration.
The goal is to open things up to people who actually want to help out and monitor and admin (these would be the Intera) while also giving original members a sticky (in this case, the term Tenebra) that says "Hey I started this thing but I'm too busy to run it."
What needs to be noted is that Candelabra and Chandeliers have the majority of authority over the forum and the cult. We'll still listen to what everyone has to say and as always take your ideas and thoughts into consideration when making decisions, but those with the final say are the higher ups.
This is something that's been in discussion for a while now and a lot of people both in our group, the snack chats, and the forum agree: It's time we start cleaning things up and getting our act together. Positions Currently Available (Limited)
--Forum Moderator (This position pretty much makes you a rule enforcer. You go through threads and posts and handle those that break forum rules. Also will help in keeping rules updated and fair) (Limit 5 people)
--Forum Organizer (This position requires a good sense of organization and navigation. You’re in charge of keeping the forum clutter free and easily accessible.) (Limit 3 people)
--Event Coordinator (This position is for planning things like lyric pieces, tumblr projects, etc… You’ll also be in charge of helping plan out and design forum theme weeks/weekends.) (Limit 3 people)
--Comic artists (This position ties in with our Twitter and Tumblr [Still a work in progress] You’ll help create short comic idea’s and panels based off of the cult) (Limit 4 people)

It's pretty much a first come first serve basis in that we'll review who we have now and start filling in spots as we decide who's best fit for the positions. |

I come to you with THE CALL FOR ARTISTS
You may all be wondering "what is going on with the comics on twitter and the forum?". Well, we have taken some time to regroup and reorganize now that we have fixed the place up, and with that we can officially announce that we are opening up applications for the Official Candle Cult Art Team!
The following positions are available:
Comic Artists (Headed by Lola Tapi and @tea):
Twitter comics
1. Grimms

Official comics
3. dragonfangz

Script writers

7.
You'll notice there are a LOT more positions for the art team than other admins, and this is because the art team will have to work on other types of social media, not just the forum! Script writer positions have also been opened for those of you who want to help us plan the comics but dont actually draw much, we're trying to make this team in the most organized and complete way possible.

Along with an opening for comic artists, we have a brand new position known as Guides.
What will Guides do?
Meet and greet essentially. When a new member makes an Introduction, it'll be the duty of the Guides to go welcome that individual. Guides will then be asked to engage in conversation with new members and offer to show them around and answer questions. They will essentially be showing new members where to post art and writing, as well as showing them how to get started in roleplaying if they so desire.
It seems like a simple role, but is crucial to maintaining interest in the Candle Cult.

Hello again fellow cultists! As you can see, we have quite a few positions from you to choose from. Comic Artists, Guides, and now for one of the last things to come into effect as a result of the revamping of the forum. We are going to open up World Builder applications for everyone. Like the Comic Artists, the age limit is 16 and up. The goal is to bring in new blood and fresh minds to get the ball rolling so that we can release monthly lore and info. The World Builders will be working closely with other staff members, but that does not mean other staff members can't apply. I highly recommend for current staff who wish to apply to only have two cult admin positions at a time. So this means that if you are already an Forum Organizer, you can be a Comic Artist but not a Comic Artist and a Guide and a <insert other jobs here>. This is to create balance and make sure no one person is overworking themselves. With that, we open the World Builders up! Seven spaces need to be filled.

COMIC ARTIST ANNOUNCMENTS
Due to the lack of applicants, Candelabra have reconsidered the way the comic team will be structured. We have decided to make it an open system. What does this mean? It means if you want to work on main and twitter comics, even if you didn’t apply to also, you can! However there are some guidelines to be considered:
1)there is always going to be a main plot in place, this might be event related or not, and is decided upon by world builders (event planners too, depending on what the plot is) and Candelabra. Please consider this plot if you wanna work with main comics!
2)a few comics, particularly those centered on lore, will be sketched by myself and dragonfangz, and scripted by world builders (with nuri’s help!), however if you would like to help, please let us know! We will make a list of volunteers, make sure to specify what you’d like to do! (paneling, lines or colors)
3) for everyone wanting to work on comics, you must be willing to work with me and Tea. We’ll help you script and lay out the way whatever comic will be made and make sure that whomever its about ties into their own plot as well as the main one!
4) A thread will be made for comic suggestions, much like the one for rp suggestions, it will also count as a list! Its first come first serve guys, one comic will be worked with at a time, since obviously we cant tackle ten comics at once. If you want to make a comic or suggest one, post it in the suggestion thread! we’ll contact you when its your turn to work with us. The current main plot will also be featured in that thread.
also, specify what comic type you want to suggest!
Twitter comics: lighthearted shenanigans
Lore updates: world builder proposal information that's been canonized.
Story So Far and original member profiles: past events in cult canon and the depictions of the original members (may also include the comicing or collab of art and writing of original members)
Cult comic: whatever main plot that is happening currently.
5)The goal in this open system is to produce more content, and give all cultists a chance to be a part of the story! It doesnt matter if you cant draw, you can ask a fellow cultist for help, and all participants will get to script and plan with me and Tea.

And of course, EVERYONE is encouraged to continue making art,and their own personal comics, which go into the general art threads
