"You have a good point," Enfer said as he left it. "So I suggest that we find the door that leads to the hallway and w=make our way to the foyer and try and figure out where we should go from there," Enfer stated. He hoped the other didn't mind his idea as he wait for Cirrus to answer

Cirrus nodded, gesturing to the several doors all around the next room. "The hallway must be somewhere-" They cut off mid-sentence, having had a new idea. "We should make a map! So that we know where we are going!"

"Good idea! We just need paper...I already have a pen," Enfer said as he looked around for something to write on. His eyes widened as he grinned when he saw a sheet of paper...well, it was a small notebook, but anything would do. "Okay, so we just came from that room and now we're here," Enfer said as he drew two small squares to show the rooms.

Cirrus felt a little underwhelmed at how the map was just two squares on a piece of paper, but they consoled themself with knowing it would be better when they had explored more. "Okay. Next rooms, then." They looked at the many doors, deciding which one looked most promising.

"hmm...how should we choose? There's seven doors in here!" Enfer cried, flailing his arms in distress. He sighed, calming down in under a minute as his tail drooped and his flame dimmed for a minute. "You should choose what door we go into," Enfer said

Cirrus closed their eyes and pointed randomly. Opening their eyes, they discovered that what they were pointing at was a wall- the only one that didn't contain a door. They looked over at Enfer and, deciding that he wasn't paying enough attention to notice, they pretended that they had landed on the one to the left. "Let's go through here!"

Enfer didn't notice that Cirrus had pointed to a wall and nodded as he followed the other through the door. He got out the not ok again and began to sketch out where they were now.

Cirrus scanned this next room. It appeared to be a bedroom, and didn't have any doors leading out. "Maybe not this one."

Enfer sighed. "I'll choose the door this time," Enfer said as he walked out of the room and choose another door. This time the door led into what appeared to be a bathroom. Enfer facepalmed and said,"let's just open every door until we find the darn hallway."

Cirrus swept through the room, opening every one of the doors. Two of them seemed to lead somewhere, and the other five were single rooms that appeared to be of no importance.
Before going through the door, something caught their eye and they re-entered the empty bedroom. A book was lying on a side table, presumably a diary or journal. They picked it up and floated back into the middle room, staring intently at it. After a few seconds, they drew up next to Enfer and handed it to him. "I can't actually read. I also think that I blurred it." they stated mater-of-factly.

"Yep, I can hardly read it...but at least we know where the hallways are, let's go," Enfer said as closed the journal that was handed to him. He looked at the map that they had drawn out and followed it through one of the doors that led to the hallway and began walking down it, glancing at the doors they passed

Cirrus followed Enfer down the hallway. "It's a good thing that there is a garden party or something going on outside. We haven't met anyone yet!"

"Yeah! It's awesome," Enfer said with a smile, wrapping an arm around the other. "Hey, look it's a staircase. maybe it leads to the foyer," Enfer said, pointing to the stairs up ahead.

Enfer released Cirrus and began to walk ahead and peeked around the corner and smiled back at the other. "Yep, these stairs lead all the way down to the front entrance!" Enfer called. He waited for Cirrus to catch up before walking down the stairs
