Cirrus floated down the stairs, but froze before they reached the bottom. They swore that they just heard a faint cough and the found of footsteps- very lightly, but certainly there. Glancing panickedly from Enfer to the closed door that the two were approaching, they signalled wildly for him to stop walking.

Enfer looked to cirrus with confusion before his pointed ears twitched to hear the sound, instantly freezing. He looked to Cirrus as if to ask what he should do. Someone was coming and it wouldn't end pretty if they caught them sneaking around.

Cirrus collapsed into water and slid briefly under the door to check what was going on before quickly recoiling. There was a security guard striding purposefully into the next room and towards the door. Turning back into their usual self, they started gesturing wildly again but the meaning was unclear. In truth they were just panicking, and hoping that Enfer would sort something out.

Enfer frantically looked back and forth as he looked up and saw a raptor on the ceiling and quickly flew up, landing on the beam as he hid in the shadows. He looked down at the security guard as they walked past. Enter made sure to stay a silent as possible so he wouldn't be seen

Cirrus zipped to the corner and disguised themself as some sort of small coffee table, waiting for the guard to pass. They hadn't had much time to think so they weren't totally convincing, but there was so much decorative furniture that it didn't really matter.

Enfer calmed his breathing and watched the guard. His flame dimmed so he wouldn't be spotted as he watched the guard eventually leave with a sigh of relief. Enfer sighed as he jumped down, being extremely cautious as he looked around once more before saying,"the guard is gone Cirrus, let's go," Enfer said, looking to the other cultist who had disguised himself.

Cirrus stood up and started hovering again, a little on edge now. They turned to look at Enfer, and half-whispered to him. "Where there is one human, there is often more. We should be careful."

"We should...let's be very careful before we get downstairs," Enfer said, his ears twitching at every little sound, making sure to listen out for any footsteps. So far he didn't hear anything as he continued to walk downstairs again, watching out for anyone.

Cirrus glided smoothly down the stairs, reaching the door first but deliberating over opening it. After a few seconds they decided that no-one was in the other rooms and went through, stopping to let Enfer catch up.
