Ticobell decided to wander around the garden at Tila, the cult's mansion. Sure it was a little barren, but it was still nice when the full moon illuminated the young flowers he had planted. Among the sprouting daisies, statice flowers began to bloom in the silvery moonlight. Somehow, they made him think of someone. A person he hasn't seen since he first decided to move into the mansion. The necromancer was torn from his thoughts at the sound of someone else's footsteps.
"Hello?" Barely a whisper, he wondered who else would be out so late for whatever reason. Aside from disposing the pizza delivery boy corpses, of course.

Taking the time to admire the flowers that had just started to bloom, the hybrid had brought seeds of his own...they were special flowers from his homeland that he was hoping to plant, but just never had the chance to do so. Crouching down, Enfer found an empty space to plant his seeds and did just that, smiling. He stood once again and continued walking, his talons clicking against the ground until he saw a familiar figure. Tilting his head to the side, he walked lose and asked,"Ticobell? What are you doing up so late?"

It was Enfer. It was the second to last person he expected, but it was a pleasant surprise to see the wyvern hybrid again. "Oh, hey Enfer. I'm just taking a break from messing with all my books and checking up on the flowers I planted here." A soft inaudible sigh escaped from his pale blue lipsas he looked at him. "What about you?"

"So you were the one who planted these...they're really beautiful," Enfer said in a soft voice as he went to answer Tico's question. "Well, being nocturnal means it's my time to roam while the others sleep...but I actually came here to plant some flowers of my own," Enfer said, glancing back at the area where he had just planted the seeds, seeing they had already started to sprout. "They grew in the mountains back at my home and they would grow relatively quickly, but only at night. It was something that I always loved to watch," Enfer stated, remembering the times when he would watch the flowers bloom.

Ticobell walked over to the patch of growing flowers that Enfer had indicated, and there were indeed flowers growing there. He was right, these flowers do sprout rather quickly. He hadn't noticed the plants last time he was here. And thanks to the special properties of this particular garden, one wouldn't have to worry about too many climate requirements. "These are fascinating, Enfer." The redhead breathed as he knelt down to watch the odd plants. "What are they called? I haven't seen any reference to flowers like this in any of my books."

"My clan called them lunar chimes, whenever the wind blew on the petals, it would make the most lovely melody," Enfer said with a smile. Enfer crouched down beside the other and said,"they only bloom when the moon is at its peak, which should in a a few more seconds." The buds of the flowers opened revealing petals that shone almost like diamonds. They were a mix of pink, white, and purple with five petals of each flower.

Ticobell could only watch in awe as the tiny flowers began to open. They looked beautiful with their variety of colors glittering like jewels in the soft light. Just then, a light breeze picked up and the enchanting blooms began to make little tinkling sounds. "Just like the bells I wear" He mused to himself as he smiled. At that moment, the sounds began to turn into a song, a discordant echo of one he remembered from long ago.

Enfer smiled at the sound, but his smile turned to a frown when he turned to look at Ticobell. "Ticobell? Are you okay?" Enfer's tone held worry and fear in it. He was really worried if the other was okay as he waited for a response.

The worried voice of the dragon beside him brought the necromancer from his his silent reverie. "Oh, um I'm okay. It's just that the song from the flowers sounded a bit familiar. Nothing to worry about, really." He said quickly before standing up. The breeze from before died down before a new one came, making the flowers play an entirely different tune. Ticobell turned to face Enfer. Were those tears in the redhead's teal eyes? Surely not, but he still hoped the other would think it to be sheer sentimentality or a trick of the light. The moon was a well known liar, after all.

Enfer got to his feet as well and noticed what looked like tears in the others eyes. "Oh dear...from what I'm seeing you're everything but okay, please tell me what's wrong, if it's the flowers we can leave," Enfer said, wiping away the others tears with his thumb, a sad look in his eyes. He really hated it when others were sad and he wanted to do everything in his power to make them feel better.

At that single gesture, that one gentle act, Ticobell lost it. Unable to hide the pain in his heart any longer, he hugged Enfer and began sobbing uncontrollably. He wanted to thank the dragon, he wanted to pour his heart out to the first person in decades who showed they cared about him. But all he could do was sob, tears and snot all over the place as he clung to the dragon like he was a lifeline. The soft wind continued to blow as the flowers still played their gentle tune.

Enfer was surprised by this but his eyes softened as he hugged the other back and ran his hand up and down the others back. "It's okay, it'll be okay...whatever happened is in the past," Enfer said in a soft voice. He allowed the other to cry on his shoulder as he continued to muttering soothing things to the other, trying to calm them.

It was some time before Ticobell had stopped crying, and the wind had since stopped blowing, effectively rendering the garden silent of all but crickets chirping and sniffling. Ticobell really appreciated Enfer's soothing words and actions. The lullaby that the Lunar Chime flowers played never ceased to bring a tear to the necromancer's eyes, but never before had he cried so much. "T-thank you Enfer" he whispered. "And... sorry about your shirt."

"You're welcome and it's fine Tico...I'm just glad you're feeling better," Enfer said with a smile. He reached into his cloak and pulled out a handkerchief and began to wipe away any stray tears that he may have missed. "There we are," Enfer said with a smile, putting the handkerchief away.

Ticobell couldn't help but crack a small smile at him. His heartbeat and breathing now back under a reasonable amount of control, he said "I guess you're wondering why I reacted like that, huh?" He sighed and slumped his shoulders, eyes as if looking somewhere far away and long ago. "If you wanna know, I suggest we find a bench so sit down on first." He gestured towards a wide wooden bench supported with black wrought iron, shapes of candles twisted into its elaborate design.
