Dante glanced down at her and smiled. His hand grabbing here in a sweet gesture as he continued to hum, pretending not to notice. His wrapped around his waist like a belt after a couple minutes had passed and he had finished humming, enjoying the sounds that filled the night.

Echo gave a quiet chuckle and kept her eyes closed, the sound of the night almost lulling her to sleep. One of her wings wrapped around her side, providing a blanket

Dante saw this and unfurled his large bat-like-wings and wrapped them around him and Echo. It was to help keep them warm if they were going to stay out here. "If you're tired hummingbird, I can take you back to your treehouse, just say so," Dante said, glancing at her as he opened his eyes once again.

Dante smiled. "Okay, just say if you get tired," Dante said, resting his head against hers as she buried herself into his trenchcoat. He chuckled at this but left her be as he plucked a flower from the ground, twirling it between his fingers as he admired how the petals changed color in the moonlight.

Echo nodded and kept silent. Soon enough though her breath evened out and she was asleep, a small smile on her face. Sicurro had long since disappeared, not wanting to interrupt the two

Dante chuckled. He removed his coat and wrapped it around Echo to keep her warm as he stood, picking her up as well as he let her head rest against his shoulder and began to walk in the direction of her treehouse. "You make my life so much better...I'm glad we met," Dante said with a smile.

Echo smiled in her sleep. "Me too..." She whispered. She sighed. She wasn't lying, he had shown her how beautiful the dark could be. She was half asleep when she gave a laugh. "Remember when you were annoyed by me? Back when we had first met. You thought I was too innocent."

"You're still innocent...but I don't mind anymore. I rarely came out of the mindscape then," Dante said as he reached the tree where Echo's home was. He was tired himself, but not tired enough to simply collapse. "We're almost at your house," Dante said as he began making his way up the tree.

"Well we're here now," Dante said as he opened the door to her house and carried her inside, kicking the door closed. He navigated the house and found Echo's room, lying her down in bed and sitting on the edge as he yawned, feeling very tired. "Do you mind if I slept here, I'm too tired," Dante stated as laid down beside her, yawning.

Echo opened her eyes and looks up. "Sure. I mean it's the least I can do." She said. She pulled the blanket from under her and pulled it to her chin, closing her eyes again

"Thanks hummingbird," Dante said with a yawn. He decided to just sleep in the same bed as Echo as he kicked off his shoes and collapsed on the bed, beginning to nod off. He eventually fell asleep snoring softly.

Echo gave a chuckle and sat up, pulling the comforter over him. She gave him a kiss on the forhead before laying back down, falling to sleep herself
