DanteEcho sat on a small group of rocks in a clearing, purple and white wildflowers surrounding her. She looked up at the clouds, her expression schooled. A small breeze blue through, rustling her tank top and blowing around her hair. She crossed her skinny jean clad barefoot legs and tilted her head back to look at the bright blue sky. A tree stood behind her rock, providing just enough shade. The girl sighed and looked at the flowers.Â

Dante was laid out beside her, humming to himself as he decided to take in the silence and enjoy the peace. It was rare for him to do things like this, but whenever he got the chance, he enjoyed it greatly. Sitting up with a yawn and a stretch, he glanced at Echo who was looking up at the clouds before looking at the flowers. Pausing for a moment, Dante plucked one of the flowers, a daisy, and held it out to her with a soft smile.

Echo snapped or of her thoughts and blinked, looking at the flower in Dante's hand. She gently took it, giving him a small smile. "Thank you." She twirled the flower around between her fingers.

"You're welcome hummingbird," Dante said with a smile. His tail flicked back and forth happily as he looked up at the sky, sitting back on the palms of his hands as he watched the clouds drift by. "I like being out here, it's nice and quiet," Dante said with a hum.

Echo gave a small nod. "Yeah. Wish it was dark though. I like the dark." She scooted back a bit further into the shade. "I'll probably be out tonight." She said, her soft voice almost a whisper.

"The dark is good, but I'm still questioning why you're acting so dark now...when we first met you were a lot more happy," Dante said with a frown. Dante didn't mind her new change in personality but it worried him. Worry was something he rarely felt.

"Dunno what you're talking about." Echo pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. She rested her head on her knees as she watched a few birds fly around. "Blue jays, Cardinals."

Dante growled lowly and sighed, not bothering to even do anything as he laid down once again as he stared at birds fly by. His tail came and flicked Echo in the head as he said with his eyes closed,"you really need to stop lying, it doesn't suit you." Dante reached into his trenchcoat and pulled out a cigarette and put it in his mouth as he pulled out a lighter from his pocket and lit it, blowing out a puff of smoke.

"Ow." Echo flinched when Dante's tail flicked her. "I'm not lying." She liked back up at the sky, a small smile appearing on her face for a split second when she saw a heart shaped cloud. She closed her eyes again as a familiar figure appeared in front of the two. "Dante, don't push it." Sicurro warned, a sad look in his eyes

Dante opened his eyes and sat up, looking at Siccuro with confusion. "What's wrong? You look sad, it's strange to see that expression on your face," Dante said as he pulled the cig from his mouth and continued to look between Echo and Siccuro. Both of them were acting very different, from what he was used to and he did not like it one bit.

Echo sighed and unfolded her wings, stretching them a bit. She fluffed her feathers and folded them back. "I don't know what's wrong with her. Her mind is closed except for my small space. She won't let me in. I think it's a leech though. They suck the happiness from Mindbenders and anyone in their minds." Sicurro sighed, sitting on a smaller rock. "Wish I could tell for sure though."

"A leech? Do you know where it would be located? Maybe I can get rid of it somehow," Dante said. He was glad to hear that this could be solved in some way.

Sicurro shook his head. "Like I said, her minds been blocked to me." Echo stopped listening and tapped her hands along the rock. "Dance...I want to dance." She spoke softly. "But....I don't..." She shook her head. Sicurro looked over at her. "I'm guessing it's near the Limbic system, you know, her emotions."
