"Good job hummingbird!" Dante said with a smile, petting her head. He was glad to be able to teach her. "So, what did you wanna teach me? You said you were gonna show me a trick," Dante stated as he raised an eyebrow and began to head back to the strawberry fields.

Echo nodded as she followed after him. "Lux Kampsi. Light Bending. When you infuse your mind with a strand of light and bend that light to your will." She said as she walked. When they exited the forest she closed her eyes and tilted her head back, holding out her arms as the sun wrapped around her. She spread her wings, moving the light until it shine off her wings, bouncing in all directions

Dante's eyes widened. "Wow, that's amazing...I can only manipulate shadows when I go into shadow form, but I doubt I'll be able work with light...it's the complete opposite of me," Dante stated. He was a creature that was used to the darkness, when light and darkness mix, something good never happens.

Echo stopped and the light dimmed. She turned back to Dante, her eyebrows raised. "You....did see what I did back there, didn't you? I was manipulating darkness, the complete opposite of me." Echo crossed her arms as she looked at him.

"Okay okay, I get what you mean...ill try out this little trick," Dante said with a laugh. "So what do I need to do?" Dante asked as he waited for her to give him instructions. He was truly interested in knowing how to do this

"Now that's gonna be difficult...but let's see if I can," Dante said as he shifted around a little and took a breath, starting to relax as he closed his eyes, allowing his guard to drop as he only focused on happy thoughts, which he rarely had. He hummed to himself as he felt himself throughly relax

"Now concentrate on one happy thought, a bright one. After you have that, take your own advice from earlier and imagine the light wrapping around you. When you open your eyes, it'll be bright. Focus on one ray of light." Echo instructed. She smiled as she felt the light wrap around her. "This is just like the shadows Dante, just use your technique from that and go from there."

Dante nodded and did as she instructed, taking a breath as he saw what she described, it was bright like she had said and concentrated on some of the light and allowed it to wrap around him like a blanket. He opened his eyes again and saw the light in his hand and he began to mold it to his will

Dante messed around with the ball of light in his hand. "Thanks...you're a pretty good teacher," Dante said with a smile as he looked at her. He raised an eyebrow at her question and thought for a second as the light in his hands vanished. "Well, not to be cheesy or anything...but I was thinking of the times we spent together...it's the only time I'm actually happy," He explained

Echo looked down avoiding his gaze again as blush rushed up her face and ears. "Oh come on, aren't you happy with Enfer or Rasmus or our other friends?" She said, leaning back against the fence. She picked up a strawberry, drawing her attention to it as much as she could

"I am...but being around you makes me the happiest," Dante said with a chuckle. He tilted her head up with a gloved hand and kissed her before breaking it and smiled. "That, and I just like seeing you get all flustered, it's adorable," Dante said, petting her head as he snatched the strawberry from her hand and began to eat it as he sat on the fence she was previously on.

Echo's blush deepened as she looked back up at him. "It's not adorable! That was a cheap move!" She said, picking another strawberry before she shoved at Dante's chest, pushing him off the fence and laughing.

Dante yelped in shock as he fell back, his tail crooked as he laid on his upper back, his legs still hooked over the fence. "I'm okay...but that was worth it!" Dante called, as he made his way to feet. He stretched and cracked his back, straightening his tail out since it always turned crooked and jagged when he was surprised. "That was mean hummingbird," Dante said, sitting on the fence again
