Scorpius strolled into the ballroom, looking around and smirking when he sighted his first target, a floating mass of goop that stood awkwardly in the corner. The scorpion king walked towards the gooey creature, extending his hand and bowing slightly as he approached. "I am on a quest. I have the intention of dancing with many people tonight and you, A, have the honour of drawing first blood. May I have this dance?"

A had been zoning out, in an almost meditative state unbecoming of it's energetic self. Then a voice spoke, causing the creature to snap back into reality. Blinking fully back to earth, it glanced at Scorpius, the scorpion king, taking a moment to register his words.
"I don't know if I want to draw any blood, I don't have a crayon with me," It began, slightly perplexed as to why they would doodle. "But dancing sounds good! I haven't danced in a long time, so this will be fun!"

Scorpius took A's hand, smiling and relaxing as he spun A round a few times before bringing the goop close to him. "Want me to take the lead? Or would you rather do it?" He laughed and spun the goo mass again, dancing a somewhat fast foxtrot, letting the music and passion of the dance take over.
