Lights flashed and two barriers appeared, pushing and deflecting against the plants pressing on either side of her. The plants tried to break through but were bounced off, until they quickly went around the walls. A barrier appeared angled forward near the ground as Flame jumped on it, using the reflective power to jump away from the incoming plants. The problem was the forest was everywhere. From every angle. She could box herself in, but that would be just as much as a trap.
So she outran and outjumped the reaching vines and branches as she went by, pushing them off and trying to get a sense of her bearings as the forest made the landscape unfamiliar to her. It was very beautiful, but she had no time to admire. The unicorn had reclaimed her forest and if she wanted to not end up caught in it she'd need to find her. Flame ran toward a sparser patch in the woods by a river, it'd give her just a few moments to stop before it was overgrown.
She saw something white flash by in the foliage and suddenly Lola was there, and Flame almost crashed into her.
"What are you running around for?" she asked.
