It smelled of dirt and damp mold, the sky was caliginous and the shift of vines, roots, and plant matter could be heard. The clay sticking between the scales with each step, coating its feet and hands as the dragon moved about a foreign area. Its breath rising in warm plumes of luminescent blue smoke and scales rattling against each other with every bristle and growl.
It despised this forest.
A rumble reverberated in his chest, loud and shaking the ground around him. Hackles rising and head pulling back as smoke continuously billowed up from parted fangs. There was a snap of light, head lurching forward and fire spilling forth, coating the trees and vines mere twigs in the behemoth's path. Its scales clattered and reflected against the blaze - the drum of trees snapping and falling to the ground nearly ear splitting as it marched forward, snapping its jaws and walking through the carnage of the embers and spreading fire. The trees that didn't fall were mercilessly torn from the soil and forced out of the way.
Out of my way,
The dragon stilled in its tracks, the forest quivering under each step, He could hear the fighting in the distance, the sound of those following his artificial path through the overgrown plant life. But it wasn't that to catch his attention. A tug at his senses, the string of magic tethered to one, one not in the direction of the mansion. The sound that tore from the beast's throat thundered past the trees, Its steps increasing in pace and speed till he was barreling through the grove recklessly, snapping the trees like twigs while flames flickered and snapped at the air around milky white fangs and a parted maw. Amber eyes bright and dancing about the surroundings in search for the cultist.
It wasn't going to let the forest steal his Lola.

She was dreaming of the forest.
Lola hadn't had a sleep this peaceful since before she changed. No nightmares, no looming shadows or eyes...always the eyes, she could see them every night. But not now. She slept within a flower bulb, a giant speckled rose suspended in the trees. It was surrounded by vines, keeping it tightly shut and hanging in the high branches of the trees. But that wasn't the only thing keeping her safe. It was the spell, It kept her asleep, trapped in the flower, and mostly, safe. There was a dim blue light within and outside the flower, and yet it would be hard to miss to anyone but the two alrauns that were guarding it.
Ambrose and Narcissus, Lola's summons, had went into the forest with her, and told Famosity they would guard the bunny until it was time for her to awaken. They sat on vines on either side of the bulb, that is until Ambrose noticed something. "Smoke" His brother looked in the direction of his voice "That...It cant be smoke Ambrose...Even if it was she's safe here". Both roses were a bit uneasy.
Not Lola. She was deeply asleep, but after a little while she whimpered. Something was tugging at her, even in her sleep she could feel it. Old and powerful magic that tied her to another cultist. Her ears flicked, almost as if expecting to hear him nearby, but she was trapped, even if she could be awake to see Lee, she was trapped by the forest.

The dragon roared in its frenzy, forcefully tugging at the bond connecting the two as a blur light caught its eyes, & the familiar scent of Lola - & two others hit him. His rage turned into another spout of fire & brimstone, eating away the life & leeching off the energy around it as he leveled the trees daring to st& in its way.
" MINE! "
The monster's claws cut deep into the earth, the sight of the flower growing steadily into view as he rampaged through the trees, breaking them & cutting the vines as two - plants - summons - they were - his eyes narrowed on the two boys sitting upon the vines of where the feeling of his Lola originated. They looked familiar but a loud hiss cut the air as heat began to build in his throat once more.
more things getting in my way.

The sudden heat was unbearable. Narcissus noticed the dragon before his brother, grabbing his arm "We have to go!" The red rose was holding onto the vines for dear life "But...Lola is--" Narcissus yanked him off the vine and away from the bud "He will scorch us! You know Lola wouldn't want that!". Both flowers landed nearby, stepping out of the beast's way quickly "But she--" Narcissus quieted him "That...Im pretty sure that is her Lee, he wont hurt her...but he could hurt us, we must step aside brother"
And they did, leaving the flower bud hanging in the trees guarded only by the many, many vines around it. Inside, Lola was barely stirring, the magic holding her prisoner was too strong for the dragon's roars and heat nearby to fully rouse her. "Ngh..." She curled in on herself a little more though. The tug was very very strong, like he was getting closer...like he was actually in the forest.
This dream was becoming stranger and stranger

He watched the small things bicker and move - scales bristling before noticing them going in the opposite direction, farther into the forest. Surprised by the change in attitude and posture, but unable to make out the words - they sounded more like mixed noises - The sight of them fleeing had the dragon slowing in front of where they had just been sitting near moments ago. The small things had looked panicked,
as they should be.
Stopping before the vine covered bud Lee snorting out a plume of smoke in the direction the two had scurried off. Turning its amber gaze back to the far too big flower for anyone's liking, it tilted its head curiously, ears flicking and straining for any sound of his bunny before moving to pace about the strange plant with careful steps. Sniffing and prodding at it with a claw to see the vines move almost mechanically in defense.
The beast hissed, snapping its teeth and lunging at the plant with fire on the tip of its tongue. Ebony talons ripped through the vines keeping it above the murky soil, the pieces snapping at each slash as more tried to replace it - once more flame and smoke billowed up from its mouth, digging teeth into the foul tasting petals and forcing it down, fire building and taking on the sight of coating the dragons head and neck, burning away the plants and tearing into the bulb. The tether growing and tugging almost painfully as the dragon continued to rip and tear viciously into it the flowery entrapment.

Someone was trying to break into her sanctuary. The summoner managed, after quite the struggle, to open her eyes. "What..." She noticed quickly, her resting place was engulfed in flames. Lola squeaked in fear, it was going to burn her, and she couldn't move! She tried, but attempts to wake up were feeble, she could barely keep her eyes open, it seemed like her body was still asleep. However the fire didn't touch her, "Magic...fire". There was only one creature she knew that used fire this way.
"Lee?" She no sooner asked this question that the forest around her, even the flower itself, reacted. Wether it was to Lee's attack, or her waking up (as much as she was able to anyway) the vegetation turned violent, Lola could see through burning petals, vines with thorns emerging from the flower and fighting back. The forest didn't want her to leave. "Don't...hurt him!" Lola could barely speak, let alone move. Famosity's magic is too strong.... Lola was thinking, not noticing the thorned vines that were attempting to restrain her until they began to tear through the petals to get to her...they thought she was fighting them, so the forest was attacking her too.
Panicking, she called to the dragon for help.

The dragon's eyes snapped open at his name - at the voice calling his name
he could understand
snapping his teeth down deeper into the plant Lee growled in frustration, claws ripping and slicing. He bit down harder, tearing deeper with each bite and thrash until vines shot forward, knocking him back and away with a loud resounding clamor. Cutting into his skin and leaving a stinging pain crashing into his nerves. A few marks on his face, but the pieces attacking his body couldn't break his scales they would be unable to inflict much damage - The dragon roared in warning, scales bristling at the site of yet more plants! the thorns were nothing to Lee, but to Lola, they were an imminent danger.
And the beast was getting really tired of this now overgrown forest,
Shaking his body with a clatter of scales blood dripped down from the gashes along its face, pieces quick to evaporate as vibrant blue flames built up yet again, coating his scales once more Lee arched up, bringing his hands down and cutting the bud to ribbons. on either side they left an opening and the beast peered down -
Shooting his head forward in the blink of an eye, the behemoth snapped his jaws, catching the smaller between milky white fangs and severing a few vines while the rest dug into his skin painfully at their attempt to get His Lola. Landing heavily on his front the ground shuddered below him, the plants now ripped and torn to shreds and burning like the rest of the forest would soon be. His prize held carefully in his mouth as the dragon parted its jaw and allowed her some air now safe from whatever imprisonment the unicorn had left.
Lee hummed quietly to himself, the sound reverberating in his throat. Princess

Hearing a loud roar, the unicorn’s eyes fluttered open. She’d been taking a nap in a newly grown flower-bed as she waited out her victory. Her head lifted gracefully turning towards the direction the roar called from. She knew that roar. Tapi must’ve let out her poor dragon to help tear through the foliage. Not a bad plan, but the unicorn wasn’t worried. She’d slain many dragons in her days, not that she thought Lee would even dare to attack her. The dragon knew better. What was even more interesting was that the roar was coming from where Lola was being kept. Famosity groaned as she got to her feet, beginning to walk in that direction casually. Lola was better off out of the way and even came to her TO be locked away. Famosity figured she might as well see what was going on at least. Strange the rabbit was being rescued after willingly going into her sleep. Taking a few bounding strides, the unicorn picked up her pace winding through her forest with ease.

She didn't even have time to think before Lee tore the flower in half. Her body was limp, she couldn't use her powers at the moment, but thankfully Lee caught her. She saw the fangs below her, but somehow felt no fear. Lola trusted Lee, he wouldn't ever hurt her. He caught her right before thorns could snatch her back. "Ugh" She was being held gently, buuuut in the dragon's mouth. She didn't have time to protest about that, and it wasn't like it hadn't happened before, he carried her around the same way while they were trapped with the Puppeteers.
Somehow she could hear him, a roar sounding like "princess". Lola wondered "Did I...Lee did I...break your seal again?" She was too sleepy "No...couldn't have...". The thorns couldn't reach her now, but the flower...her summons. She couldn't focus on more than one thing at a time "spell's still...working" She yawned, sleep was trying to take her again "Did you come...to get me back home?". She wasn't supposed to go back to the manor yet, hell she didn't know if it was still standing, and yet Lee was here, he had looked for her "Missed you..."

Lee purred in content, the sound loud in his throat. The thought of his Lola safe had him easing out of the rage boiling in his chest, her words striking a cord and the scales flattened. Yet his blood still wet and coating his scales; sliding down now stained teeth. Muscles sore and body chilling, but he didn't care Lola was safe, as safe as she could be. She wasn't awake, her voice was soft. . . the beast turned away from the mess, heading back into the direction of the mansion and most likely the other cultists still fighting for their chosen sides, though, he would come back and burn what was left of this miserable forest -
his priority, for the moment, was bringing members back, and that's what he was going to do. With another soft sound the dragon moved back along the ruthless trail he had recklessly torn into the unicorns forest, letting the smaller sleep until he could get her somewhere safer than close to the blasted horse. A familiar scent hitting him and a raise of hackles, amber eyes narrowing once more as he scanned the still intact ( for now) overgrown Woods. His claws dug into the soil, tale swatting at the air as if annoyed with the prospect of what he'd find, or what would find him, as if it were the same scenario as dealing with a bothersome fly.

With the grace another animal could never match, the unicorn continued to spring through her forest. The large chandelier hanging from her horn strangely didn’t seem to hinder her movements at all as she leapt over fallen trees and swerved around vines. Soon she reached the path the dragon had cleared. The smell of burning plants hit her like a brick wall. She'd have to fix that later. Slowing down, she trotted lightly out into path, unafraid. She was in front of the dragon now, only a couple of meters away from his towering form. Turning to face him, she was still. Her blue eyes looked straight into the dragon’s. There was no challenge in her eyes, just searching. She noticed the dragon had Lola in his mouth. Ugh. She snorted in annoyance and backed her ears. No trace of fear could be found in her stance. The unicorn wasn’t tense and said nothing. The way she looked at the dragon could only be described as disparaging as she stood in his way.

A warning growl nestled in his burning throat, a column of smoke billowing up from his snout at the sight of the creature before him. Peculiar to see the unicorn out and about (and in his way) instead of hiding in the rows upon rows of trees littering the land like weeds, but he held his ground before it. The scales flattened along his back, a soft sound from his Lola making large ears flick and the scaled neck move up high in the air to look down on the flawed animal. Lee swayed from side to side, tail now shifting and stirring the smoke and ember in a slow circular motion. Without taking his eyes off the one blocking his path, monstrous wings unfurled, extending out to their maximum reach before he beat them down, creating a gust of air and disturbing the small nearby fires and plants in admonition. A small gesture of his head, ones used many times by humans and cultists as if silently telling the one it was for to move on, or in Lee's terms, to get lost.

Lola whined quietly, as hard as she tried to stay awake she knew she wasn't going to manage it for long. She noticed the dragon's change in attitude though. "Lee?" She peered past the now blood stained fangs ( her sweater and fur also mildly tinted red) to see Famosity. What was the unicorn doing here? Had she noticed Lee took her from the flower she was in? Had she been nearby to hear the roaring? Lola worried. She knew, she had always known that unicorns could kill dragons, and vice versa, it was one of the first things she had learned as a summoner.
"Lee...don't fight her" she weakly patted a nearby fang, maybe if the dragon didn't provoke the beautiful creature she wouldn't move to attack him. She just whispered to her bonded one, hoping he understood "please?" She knew that Fam was (quite literally) in her element, and as strong as Lee was, the posible outcome of a fight scared the cultist. Before she could ask him again though, a wave of drowsiness hit her, and her eyes shut without her wanting them to.

The unicorn’s mane flowed out as the dragon’s wings beat the air, but she didn’t even flinch. She raised her head higher and scoffed, slightly offended. How dare the dragon give her an order in HER kingdom. She opted to ignore the gesture to move. Instead, she lowered herself to the ground in a bow. For a moment, one would’ve thought she was bowing to the dragon, but her horn gently grazed the earth and began to shine a blue. The grass at her feet began to immediately grow back as the unicorn raised back up. The magic seemed to spread slowly out in a circle, the path beginning to sprout with growth once more. Turning up to face the dragon once more, the unicorn narrowed her eyes. The vines began to slowly inch out of the shadows of the treeline, threatening to attack as they repopulated the path with foliage.

Watching the small animal carefully his ears flicked to catch sound, tail stopping in its motion, until he realized what she was doing -
The dragon hissed loudly, slamming a clawed hand down into the growing grass and shaking the earth, Scales bristling up in rows he stalked forward, directly towards the unicorn with slow, calculated and deliberate steps. His eyes remained trained on the smaller, the dragon continued to near without falter, the hiss building in his throat and transitioning to a continuous growl with each heavy step. the remaining fire crackled and hissed out on its own anger as it died out, branches and plants crushed under the behemoth as soon he stood feet away from her and kept in time with the advance head lowered and gaze piercing and cold, milky white fangs bared and ebony talons ripping into the soil.
But before the unicorn could move, the dragon stepped by, paw landing heavily on the ground less than a few feet from the unicorn's side, and without hesitation the dragon kept moving towards the mansion, the home with his princess safe. The tail swayed above the unicorn, the beast now walking back down the torn path he'd have to clear out again, and then he'd make sure it wouldn't have a chance to grow back.
