Dylan was very frightened by the recent events that had gone down in the cult in the last hour, and this was the worst of all for him. He was running, dogging, and jumping through quickly approaching vines who seemed to engulf the entire forest. He would have never wanted to leave his father's side if it hadn't been for the fact that he was missing his bag. The bag that had all his knives, his spear, and whatever assortment of berries, leaves, or flower petals he had in there. Most importantly his knifes; he assumed he would have more hand-to-hand combat than he would have liked. In fact, he didn't want any combat at all, but he didn't have a choice.
After half an hour of navigating the overgrown forest he managed to arrive at his house, which was just as overgrown. Dylan sighed in relief as he spotted his bag on a table next to the door; one of the only places in the house that wasn't riddled with plant-life. Grabbing his dark green bag he slung it over his shoulder and stepped out the entrance as quickly as he came in. The small blip of hope he had when he grabbed his bag soon faded when Dylan observed the forest. Every second more and more vines coated the forest and made the trip back to the manor increasingly difficult. A frown of disappointment and despair spread across his face along with more determination to get back to the manor and Scorpius.
With that, he sprinted back across the forest the way he came.

James ran through the forest, having gotten to the manor just as the violence that had been plaguing the cult had reached an all time high. Upon his return to the cult less than a week ago, he witnessed many battles and cut down so many cultist whom he could have called his friends. Nonetheless he was fighting for the good of the balance of the world, and the cult growing in size and power like this threw alarms all over the place as the sole Timekeeper.
Running through the forest, he saw a cultist hacking down vines and making their way towards Tila. He took a deep breath before disappearing from his spot away from the individual and right in front of the cultist. Channeling gold energy, he surged forward with his palm, his hand finding home in the person's torso, and blasting them a good 20 feet backwards.
The Timekeeper walked up to the figure, and summoned his lance, and promptly pointed it at the groveling cultist. His gold eyes scanning the creature with disappointed disdain.
"The forest stays the balance of the world, and yet you attack it. I have no pity for those who decide to upset that balance. I hope you surrender, or I will be forced show no mercy and cut you down where you pathetically grovel."

Dylan halted to a stop and his eyes widened. He... Rewind... Why? Dylan was stunned but managed to step back a few inches, almost tripping over a vine. So many thoughts raced through his head. What was Rewind talking about? Dylan wasn't attack the forest, at least he didn't think so. And why was Rewind being so... apathetic towards him? Did... did he really not care that much? All these questions came to Dylan's mind so quickly he couldn't keep up. He felt almost angry as he looked at Rewind, but Dylan wasn't even thinking about hurting him. How could he? He still cared about Rewind, even if it wasn't nearly as much as he had cared before. Dylan put his hand on his green bag, ready to retrieve his bow or spear at any moment.
"Re...Rewind? I don't want to...hurt you," Dylan stuttered out as his eyes became misty. In this situation, he truly didn't know what to do. Dylan was trying to avoid fights as much as possible, especially with people he really cared for. He clenched his fists.
"Maybe it's a good idea to surrender...," Dylan thought to himself. He knew Rewind would catch him if he ran and would probably win if he fought. Depending on what happened next, he would either fight or surrender.
