Dante Bone was doing some recon on the forest, crouching behind shrubs, and sending her creatures ahead a bit to make sure it was safe to move forward. She thought about rescuing some of her team mates that were captured or following an opponent to gain more info or lead her somewhere beneficial. Unfortunately its been 2 hours and she hasn't found anyone or anything. She thinks she's lost. She sighed, "I shouldn't have entered blindly. Stupid Bonebon." Her eye caught someone near her though. Taking a peek she saw it was Dante. She knew he was fearsome, he's a demon afterall, but decided to tail him anyway. He'd go easy on her anyway since they're friends right?

Dante was standing around, smoking his usual cigarette. The poisonous toxins released by his smoke killed a few plants only to grow back a second later. Dante held his usual enigmatic face before his pointed ears twitched and his tail flicked back and for irritably before the shifter pulled out on of his pistols from its holster and aimed for Bone, firing off a bullet directed toward her, missing by just a centimeter.
"You really shouldn't take me lightly," Dante said, taking out the empty bullet shell then reloading it as he turned in the direction where he believed Bone was hiding, putting a hand on his hip as he twirling the pistol in his hand.

The bullet missed her but it hit one of Dilim's tentacles and the creature hissed and retreated in its pain. "Fuck." She hissed. Slowly she stood up from her hiding place in the shrubs, sword drawn. "Wow what a coincidence it is to see you here!" She circled around him slowly, hoping to find an angle where she could strike if needed. "No hard feelings about the whole opposite sides right?"

Dante hummed as he pulled the cigarette from his mouth and put it out. "Right...yeah, I don't think so..." Dante said with a Cheshire Cat grin as he pointed the barrel of his gun at the other. "If I were you, I'd prepare myself before you get pumped full of bullets," Dante said with a laugh, pulling on trigger without a hint of hesitation, each bullet aimed for a different area--shoulder, ankles, and head.

She ducked and threw herself to the ground in order to dodge the onslaught of bullets. Unfortunately one hit her shoulder and one hit her side. One hit her thigh too. 'Shit. This was a mistake!' She thought. Not to be deterred she snapped her fingers and Dilim's tentacles shot out and tried to wrap around Dante. She prepared herself to parry bullets.
"Even though you hit me I still have qualms about fighting you! Can't we talk a bit?"
((6-10 the tentacles bind, 1-5 they dont))

Dante snarled as the black tendrils wrapped around him. "I don't think we have anything to talk about, I made my choice with little difficulty," Dante said as he struggled against the binds. He was getting sick of this and wanted to get out of these annoying binds right now.

She took a deep breath to calm her nerves and readied herself to quickly parry any attack from him. Dilim's tentacles won't hold him for long after all. "You wanted to be free am I right? You don't strike me as the type to be committed to one place or person. But what's waiting for you outside the cult? Enfer chooses to stay with us. Are you just going to leave him?"
"Anyway I just want some information. Maybe if you share some none of us have to get more injuries." But what info did she want anyway? Where the captured cultists are? How to get out of the forest? What the unicorn's weakness is? Did she even have one? She mentally facepalmed herself. Stupid Bonebon! You really need to think these things through.

"It is correct that I want to be free and what's outside this hell that I need to get to is beyond your concern...anyways, I pretty much stuck with the hybrid, quite literally. I'm bound to his mindscape...its the confusing part of my species, once we choose to stay with a person, we're stuck there until that person till they die," Dante said with a shrug. He continued to struggle against the tentacles before an idea came to his head. He shifted into a snake and managed to slither out of the binds before changing back to his human form as he got a couple feet away.

She was startled by what Dante did, panic once again coarsing through her. She was starting to get dizzy too. Oh yeah. She was shot. 3 times. She needed to cover up those wounds, stop the bleeding, make it easier for her to regenerate. But a part of her screamed to not take her eyes off the shapeshifter. She vaguely remembered times when she fought him. Boy that was a terrible experience. The panic and the headache that came with remembering the past mixed and she couldn't concentrate more than ever. "S-so what you'll take him with you forcefully?! What about Echo?! Are you going to leave her alone?!" She took deep breaths to calm her down. She was getting pretty agitated. She didn't know much about him and Echo but she knew that they were kinda in love. The thought of Echo losing someone she loved only made her angrier.

"First and foremost, I don't force people, it's there decision and if I remember correctly, Enfer still has his doubts...and with Echo, I spoke to her already about what we'll do," Dante stated as he put some special bullets in his gun. They were coated with special chemicals, the same thing he uses when he smokes. Each bullet was either, sleep inducing, paralysis, or poison...there was a low chance that these bullets wouldn't take affect.

Bone quickly parried and dodged the bullets he fired. She noticed it looked a little different from normal bullets and she was glad she dodged them. 'So he really is determined to hurt me one way or another....judging by those weird bullets he might even be determined to kill me.' Gritting her teeth, she decided to finally strike with her sword slashing at stabbing at him with her rapier. Dilim's tentacles were offering support too by flailing at him wildly.

The shapeshifter reloaded more of his special bullets and this time he shifted into a black panther and lunged at Bone, pinning her beneath him. He shifted back to his human form with a hand around her throat and the barrel of his gun pressed to her forehead. "I'm not going to kill you unless you do something stupid," Dante said, his finger still on the trigger of his pistol.

The hand on her throat brought back memories of times when blood - her blood - was shed and honestly that whole ordeal felt like a dream because no one even talked about it. But she knew it wasn't a dream because she couldn't remember dreams this vividly. Every part of her wanted him to get his hand off her throat and get that gun out of her face. The creatures in her head expressed her discomfort when they tried to claw Dante away and when some smaller ones escaped. Honestly she wasn't panicking anymore, she was more mad. Mad at what though?
"Get...off me!" She growled, her flames growing black.
"Get...OFF OF ME!" She flailed and screeched. She was really mad now.
Mad that she was vulnerable like before.

Dante hummed in confusion as he raised an eyebrow. His black nails lengthened into claws and he started scratching at Bone's throat, causing blood to start welling up. He wanted the girl to fall unconscious from blood loss so it'd make his job a lot easier.

Her throat felt like it was on fire. Blood dripped from her throat and she couldn't breathe. It felt like needles were deep in her skin and it hurt it hurts and she can't breathe. She was suffocating. She stopped flailing and tried to take in gulps of air that weren't obscured by that wretched hand on her throat. Unfortunately those were quite a few. She vaguely remembers a sensation like this, two sensations. One by the same hand, remembering that she burned it with her fire so that it released her. Another one more blurry, by a different hand..? Was it different? It was clawed too, had the same smile on their face.. It was still him (it wasn't him) All she felt was rage now, all her thoughts concentrated on hurting the one in front of her. To pay him back for what he did to her (it wasn't him he didn't do it). Her black flames wrapped around her like armor, burning the hand around her and thus setting her free. She screeched loudly, and with it continuously attacked Dante with her sword, flames not straying away from her body.
